RV parade to protest the protester
A local radio station is planning an RV parade thru a neighborhood where an anonymous person complained about a TT in someone's driveway. I find it awesome and that the station is showing support for the RV community in Kansas City!

What I find Ironic is the picture shows that the RV was in the driveway with a truck parked in front......now the Ironic part.....is that city is making resident scum up their house with the garbage bins.....
We have the same thing here in Regina and they are left in front of homes making good areas look like slums.

Very true. Too bad the city council doesn't have the balls to turn away the single complaint person.

Some people would complain if they were hung with a new rope.

The county was looking to ammend parking ordinances in unincorporated areas to prohibit parking of boats, rvs, snowmobile trailers and basicly truck with writing on the vehicle. Our "village" is a lake community with many enthusiasts who bought property here in many cases because you could do this. Bottom line, our county board rep notified the residents of the proposed amendment and about 500 peope showed up to the county board meeting and raise a stink to put it mildly. The resolution was shot down in flames and guess who got reelected to the county board?

The turn out for the parade wasn't great by the owner of my local Jayco dealer (Trailside RV) showed up in a nice MH and did some interviews for the news. If they planned the parade on a weekend, I would have gladly participated. http://pvpost.com/2015/01/09/tv-crew...-caravan-35421

And that is why I dont live in a municipal area. My camper is parked in my backyard next to my work trailer next to one of my two barns. It also backs up to my neighbor's 5th wheel where he parks his. A few years ago, a "transplant" gripped about the hog farm about 2 miles down the road. Had a local meeting about it. One older gentleman stood up to answer the "transplant". He asked him when he moved here. About 2 years ago. Old man said I've owned that farm for 40 years and my daddy owned before then. It ain't going nowhere, I suggest you move. Meeting ended. Transplant moved. Son now owns the farm and it still there.
Its my land I own it, I pay taxes on it. I will park what I want on it.
