Shameful money grab - Yosemite NP trademark dispute

Wow, I was appalled to read this today. My wife and I stayed at the Ahwahnee hotel in 2007 for our 25th. What a shame that corporate greed is taking away the names of park icons.

It could be worse. They could be selling naming rights to corporate vendors. Maybe Vernors Ginger Ale falls or the Budweiser Inn.

The government is a very large ship with a very small rudder. They should never of allowed private ownership of any concessionaire. All of them should have been forced to lease space from the government on their terms.

There is a docu series on the National Park system on Amazon video. Free with Prime. Pretty interesting how they got started. Yosemite was among the first.
