Snow today

It snowed here today. The road in front of the house was hard packed and slick. I couldn't resist and got out the old Flexible Flyer Classic! The surface was perfect, the rides were fast. Even the walks back up the hill were worth it!

Yep. We got it too. I pulled the kids around on their sled behind our 4 wheeler on the road and in the field by our house. Some years we don`t get any snow, got a lot last year and this years starting off the same way.

My Mom called me from VA. Beach and said they had snow yesterday. We had a darned ice storm here. Would rather have the snow.

We're in for a week of on-again-off-again rain here. Sux, because Sept-Dec usually is summer around here for us But good for the kids/grandkids who are planning on taking off for a few days to go up to the mountains to PLAY in the snow! LOL

About 70" of snow here so far this month. Had to shovel the roof of the camper last week and will do so again this weekend. I may need a dozer to get it to the highway when we leave for Florida in Feb! Lord knows I am ready!
