Snowed in Again!

Looking out my window now and it looks like the North Pole! Again! Started snowing yesterday around 3:30 pm. Really comin` down now with a foot possible here in ol` Virginnie. Many years we get little to no snow being surrounded by water. Oh well, the kids will love it. -Lee

I like that kinda snow.... we are the kind of folks that like snow when we choose to ride up the mountain to play in it; not live in it

Hey Crabman, is it difficult to find a snow shovel on the "Shore"?

We usually get more snow than you, but you definately won (or lost) this time!

Unfortunately I do not even own one. I`m using brooms and regular shovels. I don`t know when I`ll be able to get out as I have fields by my house and road and with this much wind and snow the drifts will undoubtedly be a problem. And these country back roads are a low priority to the limited amount of snow removing equipment available here. Oh well, we`ll sit tight, dream of Spring and make the best of it! -Lee

It will be snowing in North Idaho tomorrow----again. I really don't mind it a bit because Sallie and I are in Arizona.

here on the New Jersey coast we got close to 20 inches with large drifts due to the high winds that accompanied the storm.... luckily my sil has a very large snow blower (thrower) and saved my a lot of back breaking work!....here are a few pics....

I think you guys got it a little worse then us. I was able to get out and about yesterday for the first time. The drifts had many roads blocked here. Right now its 43 degrees and melting nicely. -Lee
