So There We Were, Driving Down the Highway....
There was a 5'er ahead of us in the number 1 lane. It was dark already, and as we got closer to pass on the right, we could see sparks starting to shoot off from under the tires. We got up to the passenger and pointed indicating they had a problem "back there". they slowed down and about that time you could hear the noise of the resulting flat. Not the best place to pull over but enough shoulder to be part of the way off. With no cars coming at that time, we were able to come around his driver side and let him know about the sparks, and now the flat, and that in about 100 yards there is a pull off to safely get off the road. He was pretty greatful. Offered several thank-you's. He had an accent that sounded Danish.
We've been in situations where we were helped by other rv's over time. It sure feels good to reciprocate that kindness. Tonight felt good
