They used to patrol route 95 in Maine using aircraft. They would clock your speed by calculating how fast you traveled between the white markers painted on the road surface.

The Security Police off the highway near our neck-o-the-woods actually have this *literal* dummy in the front seat. Well, maybe no more as us dummies figured it out..

Flagstaff used to park an unmanned police car on I-40 on the west side of town just to scare people into slowing down. They stopped when someone managed to unlock the car and put a box of donuts on the passenger side of the front seat.

That helicopter looks just like the one that hovers over my house. Maybe I need to clean up my Obozo comments on Yahoo..Naw.. Why bother? I'm already on the brown-shirt watch list..
