Very nice pictures!

One day I will be retired too! It may take 20 years or so, but one day it will happen!

I'm learning to love it. I was retired suddenly when the Air Force decided I was too banged up to remain in their employ. Retirement at 38 years old was the pits, as I still felt I had some good years left.

Now that I am 54, have had heart surgery, take enough pills to stock a pharmacy, and have aches and pains where I didn't think I had parts, I'm learning to accept it. My big priorities to keep me from women chasing and and being a barfly are keeping my elderly Jayco in top shape along with my F-250 pickup. That and starting a business venture with my son and wife.

When it cools down and the wife can take a vacation from her job, we shall go visit the grandkids. It sounds like I'm beginning to settle into this retirement thing.

I retired after 34 years. After 4 months of honey-do's and boredom, I went back to work full time. That was in 2007. In another 2 years I can get another retirement check where I am working now, will be able to draw social security (MAYBE) and plan to retire the second time. I think, at that point, I will stay retired...unless I become bored again. The DW is a great camping mate but she is of the weekend variety so as far as long RV trips away from home base, I will have to go solo. No chance of ever becoming full timers in this Jayco.

Don is fulltime retired... me semi-retired. I'm fortunate to be able to take 1-3 months to travel at a time. I love to travel and grateful I have time to do it
