The winter rye grass is in and growing fast

With daytime temps still in the 90s and mornings at 70 F the winter rye grass came in quick this year.

We moved to Arizona from Michigan. We don't miss the cold, snow, gray skies, insects, leaf raking, OR the lawn watering, seeding, aerating, fertilizing, mowing, and raking.

I would love to live in a climate that doesn't drop below freezing too often.


But, I still have to earn a decent living.


So, stuck in NY it is. Until 2027 or '28 at least.

Colorado is pretty much my perfect climate. Heck, it's 80 degrees right now in my back yard, but I imagine that is changing soon. I've lived in every region of the country, it's my favorite so far. I enjoy our 4 distinct seasons and the crisp winter days absent of mosquitoes and flying cockroaches.

Right there with you, Mike. I have at least 7 more years of high taxes and freezing temperatures.
