Yes, I always feel sad when I see someones camper scattered across the median. It just makes me all the more thankful when I arrive at my destination safely.

Hate to see things like that. Serves as a reminder to slow down and take it easy, the destination isn't going anywhere.

Seeing that is one of the many reasons I'll stick with towable and not go the MH route. MH seem to be built very much with the same construction technics as TT/5rs -- none of them seem to hold up well in an accident. Wouldn't want my family or I to be in one of those during an accident, would much rather be in my Duramax should an accident occur.

Follow-up / Closure.....

Updated: Wednesday, March 19 2014, 07:03 PM CDT:

State Police are investigating after a 37-foot RV overturned on Interstate 81 South in Franklin County, shutting down both lanes for several hours. The accident happened near mile marker 2 in Antrim Township. All southbound lanes have since opened.

Police tell us John Devore, 80, of Pennellville, New York, fell asleep at the wheel, drove off the roadway, lost control, then overturned and eventually came to a stop in the median. Devore and his passenger, Donna Devore, were taken to Meritus Hospital with minor injuries. Their RV was also towing a SUV at the time of the crash.

We traveled up from NC to MD this past Saturday, raining all the way.
Traffic was bad and saw several fender bender accidents along the way.
Glad we came Saturday instead of Sunday, rain, much higher winds and snow Sunday afternoon.
