Travel trailers and major storms
Just curious to see what type of precautions people take with their lightweight travel trailers when preparing for major storms.
As I write this I'm mentally going over my list of to-do's in the event Joaquin chooses to hit NJ. For Sandy I moved our belongings into the garage and then filled the trailer's fresh water tanks, parked it in the street (away from the trees in my yard) and hoped for the best. A tree did fall where I normally parked it so I got lucky. The camper was undamaged but the winds had moved it about 6" sideways. I don't have many options so it'll probably be the same drill if needed for Joaquin. I guess in the end I do what I can and keep the insurance policy handy just in case.
