Video - "Thank You Troops"

http://media.causes.com/576542?p_id=92681239

I know there are many videos out there that "Thank Our Troops", but here is another one that is pretty good. Watch when a Marine Bends down to shake the hand of a little girl. Watch what she does! This happens right after the "Troop Hug".
There is a reason why I have the "American Flag Picture" on my posts. Some of you may have seen my posts about the Flag Pole that I made.
I also have "Support Our Troops" Minnesota plates on my truck. (They look like this)
http://www.platehut.com/cgi-bin/imag...MN&country=USA

I am a former member of the US Navy (served 8 years) and very proud of it!!!

I hope you enjoy the video!!

My dad was in the Navy, WWII Pacific theater. Perhaps we could use a Past/Present Military roll call thread of forum members and their families.

I would really like to see something like that, but would "Admin" approve the "Sticky" or "Thread"? I guess we can submit it and see how far it goes.
Thanks for the idea!

When a Canadian soldier dies in Afganistan (so far, over 150), they are flown to Trenton Air Force Base, and then the family escorts them to the coroners office in Toronto. This strech of Highway is about 100 miles, and was officially renamed the HIGHWAY OF HEROES. Every time a soldier returns, thousands of people come out to show their respect. It doen't matter if it is sweltering heat, or freezing cold, they line the overpasses and sides of the road. No one organized it, it just happened.

google HIGHWAY OF HEROES

Yes, opening a thread is easy, but Rolly would have to approve a sticky. But our fightin` guys and gals deserve something......

2 Minutes I Will Abide

I think I may have posted this once before, but this is another inspiring veteran tribute video. Terry Kelly is a blind musician from Canada.

Thats a GREAT video. I have never seen it before.

Some people think Canada doesn't have much of a military history. We lost over 110,000 soldiers and sailors in WW1 & 2. That should mean something!
