Waterproof Bag?

Has anyone found an inexpensive waterproof bag that really works? I just need it for a cell phone, car key, and maybe an ID. It needs to be small enough to fit into the 10" round hatch in my kayak.

I use double seal ziplock bags for my keys, phone, and ID. I place them in the hatch on my kayak which has a good seal. Invariably some water finds its way in the hatch but my gear in the ziplock bags is always dry.

Or you can buy the waterproof bags at Basspro, Walmart, etc...

My wife bought us a couple from Walmart that are hard plastic with a removeable lid for access. They work and she likes them cause she can read texts thru the lid.

I used Dry Sacks By O.P. when I was hiking. My wife picked them up for me and I was pretty skeptical but, they work great. It's the "fold over" type and I believe there were 3 or 4 different sizes to the pack. Believe it or not, she got them Target. Search Outdoor Products on Amazon.

Like others I use a heavy ziplock freezer bag for small items. If you want to be extra careful put the sealed bag into a Rubbermaid or Tupperware style food container with a good lid.
