Waterproofing

Has anyone used Never Wet by Rust-oleum? It's available only at Home Depot I believe, but appears to be a miracle product.

Protective Coatings | Waterproof Coatings | Corrosion Control | NeverWet

Would love to hear if you did, how it worked out.

I could see using it for rain coats, shoes, hats, back packs, out door table cloths, etc. They also make a product, one step for auto interiors, seats, floors, head liners etc. Was wondering how it would work on outdoor rugs, mats etc.

I've not used it but, may try it. Nothing worse than getting caught in rain and then having to work soaked. So would start with shoes, coats, possible jeans, hats, and gloves. Played around on you tube and all seem to be good uses, with videos by real folks. Just curious if anyone here had tried it, and their results.

Not expensive if it works and if it lasts for any length of time. It's also suppose to be great for tents etc.

Bought some about a year ago because it seemed so neat! Never did figure out what the heck to do with it.

Satellite dish install guy told me it helps keep the rain from degrading the dish signal.

Looked at the dish on the house and decided to get a fiberoptic feed.

I could see that being an issue LOL But on a coat or hat etc that are not washed often, it may have some usefulness. It will wash off with agitation and soaps from what I have read. They warn you to not soak fabric. I may get some just to play with it.
