weird weather

Wondering about local climate knowledge across North America. What do you think is the most significant change in your area in the last few years?

This particular year it has felt warmer, spring seemed to come sooner, but my HTT is still in winter storage. But it is coming home soon.

I can't nail it down.. Winter storms 2014/2015 were horrific in the north east.
2015/2016 winter was mild. 2 or 3 small storms with milder temps. We do see more mixed weather storms with combo freezing rain/snow. I remember when it was mostly just snow storms in the winter.

Spring always varies around here. Early March was unseasonably warm, but then it got cool again with 2 April snow storms. It's finally warming up again with projected highs of 75 today!

Summers feel the same to me. It's Hot at Haiti's July/August.

That's not what the climate-change folks believe.

(Note: Controversial Subject )

The biggest thing I've noticed in the N/E is that there seem to be more storms with damaging winds.

WE have been experiencing global warming ever since the Glaciers started retreating about 10,000 years ago.. Maybe we have added a little to speed things up but to think we can control ma nature shows just how arrogant we are

It's been a very wet winter in South Florida. The rains normally appear in late spring/early summer but this past year, it was very wet in November/December and strong downpours through the spring. The Everglades are quite full.

I love when they say it's the warmest since the late 1800s, then claim climate change.. Well, it was as warm or warmer 100 years ago, before autos and before the huge population the earth has today so, I take that to mean, it's not much different in 100 years, in spite of all the oil were using today. Climate is cyclical. We have had serval ices ages here in the us and it got colder, then warmer then colder and then warmer. Has more to do with sun activity than human activity. That being said I'm all for doing the best we can to not pollute the air, water or human minds..
