what are your other intrests/hobbies?

OK, so besides camping and Jaycos what are your other hobbies and interests? I ask this in hopes of linking other members together and like forums. Mine are kayaks, fishing, air cooled Volkswagens, and working out.

My wife's main interests, besides camping, are quilting and grandchildren. Mine are grandchildren, antique cars (mainly Model T and Model A Fords), model trains (HO gauge), antique farm machinery, and collections of old tools and old Virginia license plates. My married daughter likes VW beetles, and has a '74 that needs total restoration, but she has very little time or money for that, having two kids 5 and 3 yrs old.

Besides camping mine are grandchildren, disc golf, and the Lutheran Church.

Wife reads and grandchildren. Also a great caregiver to many at church.

Yes, I also forgot to mention the 'skins, considering that I've been a fan since 1959, when I first moved to Virginia with my folks. Guess I'm dating myself, but I remember when Sonny Jurgensen took over from Norman Snead at Qback, somewhere around '63 or '64. Been a real roller coaster ever since. Think you should definitely get out those HO trains and see if you can generate some interest for your girls.

Awesome. Do you do one of those big shows? I'm a few blocks away from the guy in Port Jeff.

Hobbies are quads, guitar playing, working on our river lot, and beer. Not necessarily in that order.

My wife and I go to the range for target shooting. She has a Taurus Judge, and I like my XD-40. We are caregivers for her elderly father. Without the support of friends, our traveling would be limited. We enjoy our short trips, and my wife has a Nook Glowlight and really loves to read. We are hopefully going to be in Florida for our 25th wedding anniversary in April.

Safe Travels,

Martial arts is more an advocation rather than hobby (instructor in Jiu-Jitsu & Martial Blade Concepts) but beyond that would be shooting, motorcycles and reading. I use to fly planes recreationally (private pilot, instrument rating) and spent a number of years heavily involved in numismatics but there are only 24 hours in a day so time dictated letting some things go to focus on others.

Besides showing dogs, I like reading, knitting, spinning yarn, making lace, and most any type of handcraft. Hubby likes his motorcycles. LOL

Like many others, I've had a lot of hobbies over the years but try to limit myelf to 2-3 at a time. Currently I enjoy photography, building garden ponds and restoring old 10 speed bicylcles. Past hobbies included hunting, fishing, Harleys, Air Cooled VW's, Tai-Kwon-Do (Black Belt), billards, horse shoes, 4x4 4Runner, and all facets of remodeling/building things. Cincinnati, Ohio here.

Oh, and I forgot - hubby brews beer, so he generally takes a few to enjoy while camping!

Big Dog Chopper, you must be the coolest Grandpa ever!!! Good on ya for doing what's best for the young ones.

My main interests are hunting and fishing, I am just starting to train a new duck hunting dog. She is only 3 months but coming along great. My wife and I together like to watch sports hockey, baseball, football. My kids are 23&20, prior to getting back camping I coached my oldest daughter in softball and we spent tons of time at the ball field. She ended up getting a US universiity scholarship out of the deal so it was a win win.

I have always always always been into the outdoors; camping(tent),hunting, and flyfishing. Now that I'm older, fatter, and married, I am into kayaking, shooting sports, and deer hunting. Most of my time is spent at a dance academy watching my daughters dance, or at dance competitions, or working to pay for dance. See a pattern? I hope to get 20 days of camping in per season.

Riding my bicycle ( not since the accident ) Photography, Cats, Reading.
Cats and reading go together cause if you stretch out to read you'll have a cat in your lap in no time.
Bicycle and photography went well together too. Stop at cool places and click a few photos.
I will get back on my bike soon.

I am an avid gun collector, shooter, love to hunt, read lots, waymarking when I have the opportunity, railroads. I am learning about railroading the hard way - actually going along on a shortline railroad, doing what they do - throw switches, couple/uncouple cars, run locomotives under supervision. I hope to take a basic safety and railroad practices course this winter. I also work part time as a combine operator, and still work for the RCMP as a Reservist Constable. I am supposed to be retired! I have a passion for big old diesel locomotives and am finally able to realize my (up til now - pipe) dream of actually running one!
