Cheated on her, went and looked at a Starcraft Travel Star 299bhu, same floor plan as our 23J, but bunks in the back and no beds to tip out. Very nice trailer. No beds to tip out is starting to make sense.

Brought her home from storage. Went to sanitize tanks and realized I have no bleach! Pooey! So I installed clips for the metal blinds in the kitchen (IDK why it didn't come with them?). Finally got around to installing a courtesy light in my control center cabinet. Worked really well, and I only popped one fuse in the process!

We cleaned and emptied everything out of the 2007 25RKS this weekend for the last time.
We are trading it in for a brand new 2013 Eagle 314BDS.
It was a sad day to clean it out for the last time, but also exciting to realize that we are taking a new unit home this Friday!!!!

Finally a sunny weekend so dry lube sprayed jacks & awning arms, wiped all rubber seals with 303, cleaned the awning and started to put some food staples in it.

Cleaned the roof and treated all the rubber to 303.

Heading home tomorrow, supposed to snow. Kill me now.

Began sanitizing the water system, checked the kitchen faucet for obstructions (would have sworn there was something in there, but nada, just about 4 extra screens...) tweaked the hitch, checked some bulbs (leds), torqued the lugs. We added a day to our season opener which is awesome, but that's one less day to get the work done!

Changed out the shower head, checked and tested all systems for proper functionality.

Saturday morning, I pulled our pup out of storage, took it home, set it up, aired it out, and a few hours later, sold it.
Today, I replaced the roof vent crank gear and then delivered the pup to it's new owner.
We're glad the sale was quick and easy, but if it didn't sell, we would have gladly continued to use it. The pup was used as a trial to see if it fit our needs. Maybe a park model set up on a permanent site in our favorite campground will be in our future.

Finally dewinterized the trailer last Saturday, with our first trip of the season only about 10 days away, and the temperature in the 80s. Felt safe in doing this. Then last night we get a temp of 27 degrees. Arrrrrgggghhhhh !! Drained all the water out and turned on the heat - hope the plumbing survives.

What Did You Do To Your Jayco TODAY?

Took it to a trailer shop in town and had a maxxair fan installed. While I was there made an interesting discovery... apparently trailers need to be inspected in Virginia! *facepalm* Somehow that never even occurred to me. Glad I figured it out at a shop that does inspections, rather than on the side of the road with one of Virginia's finest!
