Took it back to the dealer after DW was locked into the bedroom with a broken door lock / cylinder that wouldn't let her exit the bedroom for too long.
Also the 3.0 leveling system is not functioning so that is being addressed as well.

Picked up from storage couple hours ago and plugged into shore power so the fridge can cool down. The wife will get everything packed up tomorrow while I'm at work. Saturday morning we head out to Top Sail SP in Santa Rosa, FL. Going to stay the night in Vicksburg, MS at the Ameristar Casino. Seemed like a good halfway point!

Fixed loosing 1/3 of fresh water from the 2 overflow lines from the FW Tank which where hanging down. As there is also a vent hole with the Gravity fill.
Took a 20" 1 1/4 pipe and capped the top and drilled 2 holes the size of the overflow hoses about 5 " from the bottom of the pipe. Drilled a hole through the floor beside the wheel well where the gas line and FW suction line is (198RD) and put the 1 1/4 pipe upright. Before I done this I extended the 2 overflow hoses and stuck them in the 1 1/4 pipe about 1 1/2 from the top cap. Be sure they stay above the tank.
Silicone and foamed the 1 1/4 pipe and a few Tie-rips in place. NO more loosing 1/3 of my FW being on the road. While venting and overflow is still in place.

E-Brakes

Just finished installing brake controller. Will test and set strength in am. Thanks to collom4 (posts)for the help. Hope I chose the correct blue wire as there were two to choose from. One had an "A" label and I took that one to be the engine exhaust so I chose the other one.

Installed a Valterra Fridge Vent fan in an effort to get the little Norcold to work better while underway on hot days. It seems to be fine when parked so I'm thinking that it just doesn't vent the heat very well when going down the road. It was an interesting install given the small vent compartment. I suspect that the fan is probably going to end up running most of the time which shouldn't be an issue as it's quiet and doesn't really draw much at all - about .5 amp.

Went down to the dealership and put the good faith deposit on her after the DW measured every nook and cranny. (We pick her up next week - the trailer, not the DW.)

Drive-by storage check. It's been gone a week and a day, and I already miss it. Oh well, at least we're planning another getaway soon! July & August aren't good camping season for us here, so we tend to take it easy and ramp up in the fall when it's a bit more tolerable to be outside.

Loaded up for a trip next week. Took the fridge gas orifice assembly apart and blow crud out of it so now I get a strong blue gas flame.

Checked water in all batteries. checked battery connections. Organized storage compartment.

We put in the LED bulbs that arrived yesterday and we installed our new table (will post pics in the mid area next week) and we should be packing as we leave on holidays tomorrow but we are out and about right now. We changed our plans and are staying much nearer to home now so there's no great rush to get going tomorrow.

I'm just sitting here typing and drinking my first cup of the day. Later today I intend to do just what I have been doing during the hot afternoons for the past several weeks - nap time with the History Channel on low.

I woke up very early like I normally do and am surfing and enjoying my first cup. Going to be a very hot day today, but both a/c's are working fine.

What Did You Do To Your Jayco TODAY?

Finally gave her a bath after just getting back from a great 2-week trip!

Also repaired the dining seat bench cupboard, which flew off during travel. Most likely due to the 1/4" long screws used to mount it (c'mon Jayco!). Put some longer screws in the hinge and latch.
