I took the advice of other Jayco Class C owners ...with Heilwig Helper spring adjustments....cinched up the shackles on rear leaf springs to have a 2" gap between helper and chassis springs..tough job for my 70 year body...had to cut one bolt down that hit exhaust pipe...it raised the back end up a few inches I think...now with our 29 Mv Greyhawk fitted with a full load this should be beneficial, as spring adjustment from factory is on an empty unit...
pic is space before cinching down to about 2" on front and rear of each rear leaf spring....

We have bought baby latches for the drawers and for the shower door (because we travel some pretty rough roads), ordered a Persian-style carpet, and scheduled the electrician to come install a 30 amp/120 volt box within reach of the parking spot. We have also taken several deep breaths to stay calm for two more days till we pick the TT up from the dealer.

Cleaned the black streaks with "Totally Awesome" cleaner.
This stuff works great. And only a buck at the dollar store!

Replaced the bulb in the porch light. It's only been blown since April.

Repaired the steps again on my 26BH. A couple more rivets that connect the linkages and allow them to hinge were getting pretty sloppy. Replaced with 3/8" bolts. Much more solid now.

I had one of the rivets give way once when I stepped on the stairs. Not fun, and I don't want it to happen again.

Installed Scan GaugeD. Looking to do a better job of monitoring fuel status as the fuel gauge is unreliable. Looking to add additional gauges thru "XGauges" option as well.

That is a great deal. I have the pedestal version, but they are great units.

Fired up the fridge and started packing for the next trip out. This will be the first trip out since installing the fridge vent fan. So far so good - was 95 in the trailer when I got back to things and the fridge was still sitting in the mid 30's. Could never get it to do that before the vent fan. Hopefully it still works as well when rolling down the road......
