Checked temperature inside our rig, a balmy 74 degrees, using only a 115VAC oil filled radiator type space heater left on temperature setting 5 of 6. Good, no need for propane all winter!

Still have not winterized plumbing, waiting for the next 70 degree Carolina December day.

Towed it (yesterday) from Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument in Southern Arizona, back up to Quartzsite. Got the basic set up of the TT done, but need to put down my front carpet today, plus unload the rest of the stuff from the bed of the truck. It was a nice, relaxing 4 hour trip.

Replaced the 4AA's in the keyless lock. Parked in the CG for the next week and wait NO HOT WATER after winterizing earlier. Found I didn't close the bypass valve after filling the tank

Fixed a plumbing issue (kinked piece of PEX) I found when hunting down the water pump.

I bought one of these: Shop Superior Tool 3/8-in , 1/2 -in, 3/4-in Pliers at Lowes.com several years ago . I carry it in the camper along with a small supply of 1/2" and 3/4"crimp rings. That and a pair of vice grips will fix a pex joint in a jiffy if you only have a few to do.

Well it is finely fixed, New doors and the under belly replaced looks great. But wooden you know it, the company that made the doors ( No longer in Business) so the door frames are smaller, so they needed to drill new holes and do body work.( It works)
The power Jack packed it in, will be replacing it soon.
The trailer is now moved out of the storage area, over to the repairman back yard for the winter, then over to his shop in the spring.
Will cover it on the 30th then heading to Kamloops for New Years with some friends.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

I used stainless hose clamps vs. the PEX crimp rings as the location for both joined was hard to reach as best. I assume those will hold just as well? If not, it's back to Lowes for the crimp rings and tool...

Installed new Command Electronics LED taillights, and new Hopkins 7-pin TT connector/cable........., both pretty straight forward installations.

Command Electronics #003-81M1 & #003-81LM1 (white):

Watched a few movies and sipped a few beers while my TT was buffeted by 40mph gusts of wind. Kind of a shake and bake day today.

Towed it from Ft. Wilderness to Albany RV Park in Albany, GA. One night here and then on to my home base. 323 miles towed yesterday and 12.3 mpg.

I hooked up the tire dolly to the motorhome. I'll load the Mini Cooper tomorrow between ice storms.
We had planned on leaving from northern Illinois for New Orleans yesterday but storms near St. Louis kept is home. After tomorrow's ice here we should be able to get down to a chilly overcast trip south.

Finished up a two day drive from Ft. Wilderness back to my home base. All went well except almost hitting a stalled car on I85. Thank goodness for good functioning trailer brakes. This guy just stopped half in the right lane. All vehicles ahead of me changed lanes suddenly and I showered down on the brakes and moved over too. As is usually the case with the guy at the end of the line I had almost no time to see and react. Again, thank goodness for good working brakes that allowed me to slow down enough to move over and now jackknife in the process. When I arrived at my home base the only issues I found inside the 5'er was a turned over small trash can in the bath and everything on the two medicine cabinet shelves had slid all the way forward.

Towed it home from Jackson Rancheria RV Park. Cleaned it out and put it back in storage.

Beautiful warm day. I installed Eternabond tape on 2 skylights on our rig.

I'll start a thread next year with the pictures.

I am currently enjoying a cup of coffee while watching TV with three electric heaters running all compliments of my Onan. Yep, this is the first of the month and I'm running my generator for it's monthly one hour run under load. No issues so far. It is running nicely, warm inside and the coffee is hot.

Replaced the "Thermistor" assembly in my Norcold frig a couple days ago. Frig temp was starting to fluctuate more then normal, the new replacement seems to have resolved the issue. Easy R&R plug-in fix.

Norcold "Thermistor": Norcold Thermistor Assembly 618548 (fits all N6/ N8 models)

Preparing for our beach jaunt in a week; it'll be cold, just hope El Niño doesn't make it rain the whole time. I put away all the small Santa gifts (including a really cute trailer wind chime from Sunset Vista Design Studio), installed and tested the new heated mattress pad, and made the bed!

Rebuilt my Watts 263A water pressure regulator. I spend a lot of time in a high iron content water area. When the regulator starts to allow higher pressure than what is set it is time. I last had to do this 2 1/2 years ago. All is working well again.
