I'm in the process of sanitizing my fresh water tanks right now. Even though I'm on full hookups, I figured it would be good to give them a shot of Clorox to kill the nasties. You never know, I may decide to bug out tomorrow. I miss the road.

Also, I made a temporary repair to my propane tank- to- regulator fittings. I've ordered a new pigtail for replacement. Should be here in a week or so. I made a post about checking for propane leaks HERE.

Replaced the piece of junk AM/FM/DVD player with a new Sony unit. We now have great FM and Blu Ray movies in our TT.

Today I emptied the grey and black tanks and then refilled the black tank with fresh water and added Borax, detergent and some bleach. Trying the Geo method of tank cleaning.

I purchased a Sony HBDE2100 from the local Wal-Mart Size was not an issue as our entertainment center is kind of a corner unit with generous shelf spaceClick image for larger version

I chose this unit after looking at several others and trying out an RCA model. I payed more than I wanted but this unit had all of the features I was looking for, such as wireless WI-FI, Blu Ray DVD player, and FM. The only mod to the new unit was I had to cut the plugs off of the speaker wires of the new speakers and butt splice them on to the existing speaker wires. Not too bad as the polarity was clearly marked on the plugs.

Yesterday was a busy day. I washed the roof, cleaned out the gutters, washed the entire exterior, and checked the entire trailer for any compromised sealant and damage.

There were only a couple of spots that looked suspicious. The Dicor around the TV antenna was cracked a little, and the sealant at the front edge of the roof was kind of iffy. I ran a good bead of new Dicor self leveling along the front roof edge and resealed the antenna. I used the rest around the bath exhaust fan and a bit to seal where the canopy mount screws go into the top TT edge.

Then, I re-sealed two windows (removed them from the TT, pulled off the foam gasket, and resealed with butyl putty). That's the last two windows- all are sealed with butyl now. Sometime later this week I'll run a bead of sealant along the top edge of all the windows, and re-do the sealant around the lights and other fixtures on the TT. After that's done it will be good and water tight, ready for the coming NorthWest rainy season.

Today I'll probably re-string all the blinds with new string. Some of the strings are looking pretty worn, and I hate it when one breaks. I'd rather stay one step ahead of the game.
