In the last 48 hours I pulled my TT from North Padre Island to a little free campsite on the bank of Cheney Reservoir, near Wichita, KS. Final destination is about 20 miles away, a house I own in Hutchinson. I need to do some finish work to the house so I can sell it and finally be HOUSE-FREE!

Since there's no fridge or stove in the house, I'll park my TT in the yard and live in it while doing the finish work. While here in KS I plan to do maintenance on the roof and reseal all the windows. I want to be sure my Jayco is watertight before I head back up to the Great Northwest.

I plan to be done with Kansas (permanently) within a month, then it's back up to my new homebase in Washington state.

Hitched it up and took it camping at Ft Casey State Park near Coupeville WA. Only about 8 campers here so quiet and peaceful down here by the water. Fun watching the ferry dock and load.

I got all the diagrams from Jayco today. 2007 Jay Feather 165 Sport
Electrical 12V
Electrical 120V
All 4 walls.
I took the files to Office Max and had them printed to 18" x 24" so I can read them lol
They will be part of the paperwork I keep in the camper.

If anyone needs a copy, send me a PM with your email. The files are too large to place on the Forum.

The wife and I picked up our new 26BH today. I put it in a storage lot until it warms up, yanked the battery and put in a TV mounting bracket. Can't wait to go camping!!!

Can't remember if I posted this so will post now- Took my bucket of tools and parts up on the roof and cleaned all the patches I had installed earlier- Then I applied self leveling caulking around the outside of the patches- Now I feel more confident the roof is watertight- Sure looks like a professional job if I say so myself- JMHO- DD

Pulled the TH next to my shop. Connected the slinky hose to the treatment plant inlet, to drain and flush the holding tanks from our last trip. Going to install a Quickie-Flush on the black tank soon, so I want it very clean to do this. :hihi:

Its cold but dry so I went on the roof and inspected the caulking, etc. The roof was a little dirty but caulk looked A O.K.
Also did some spot cleaning where black streaks had formed in a few places. I wish they would come up with sealants that did not stain so much.

Nice. I have the vent cover but I've never heard of a vane vent. What is it's function?

I hooked up to her and pulled her 400 miles. First vacation of the season. Will be gone for seven nights.
