Just returned it to storage after unloading everything! I never realized how much stuff we've accumulated and kept in the TT until now! Won't put everything back in the new 5er on Friday when we pick it up.

Picked up a chair and footstool at Ikea to replace the factory swivel rocker on the right rear of the TT.

Starting to gather ideas to setup a small studio DW wants at the left rear of the TT (table/desk, storage) to replace that swivel rocker.

Hooked her up to fill the tires up and check the lights. Then put her back in storage. Next weekend, state inspection!!!

Today I pulled the negative side wiring from the frame (at the battery end and the converter end), cleaned up the terminal ends and re-attached to the frame. They didn't look corroded, but now I KNOW those connections are in good shape.

It's windy and about 19 degrees F out there (wind chill down around 0), so I just looked at my new but lonely 23RLSW through the window. If it were a *little* warmer I'd be starting to do stuff like upgrade the shower head, and stock the gear and accessories from our previous TT.

Trailer's still covered and it's STILL pouring down rain so after reading through some threads on Tote-Alongs I picked up a 32-gallon Barker 4-wheel w/pneumatic wheels. Should be able to empty the gray tank twice before having to wheel it off to the dump station.....

Pressurized the water system, filled the fresh tank, topped off tire pressures (TT & TV), installed screen door lock, made a batch of ice.

Now the little munchkin will have a lot harder time taking the fast way down the steps! I know he'll figure this out pretty quick, but it'll work for a little while. And for $2 if it works only once or twice, it's a good investment!

Edit: Now that I'm looking at it, perhaps once he figures it out, I can move it to the top of the opening. I put it here so we could reach it from the outside on the ground. If I move it up, I might have to stand on the bottom step to release it...

Mission scrubbed. Whole family is sick.

So I winterized last night. Supposed to get some freezing temps this weekend, and it's easy enough to do to not take a chance. Drained all the water, blew out the lines with compressed air, poured AF in the pea traps and toilet, brought the slide in, dumped out my ice. I'm hoping I can manage to stay well enough to do some tinkering on it this weekend while the others get to feeling better. Otherwise, it's back to storage for at least another few weeks... maybe more, it's busy season at work.

I installed a 2500 watt inverter/ 30 amp charger and an paralleled an additional battery to keep from having to run my generator to watch tv/blurays/sat. I disconnected the built in 12vdc powersupply and spliced in the inverter after the breaker to the TV and kitchen area, I can now make coffee, and watch tv with no generator.

Did you take pics? Could you do a writeup? This is something I think I might like to do someday. Not that we boondock, but we'll have some trips that involve overnight stays without utilities, and it would be nice to have a little more functionality in those times.

Repaired my stand-alone Xantrex battery charger (a sensor wire shorted out on one of the clamps- soldered in a new section of wire). It works like new now. After fully charging my batteries, I topped off the 6 cells with distilled water.

Still breaking ours in. We switched ALL lights to LEDs, even the stair lamp and the range hood. Inverter doesn't even turn on when all the lights are on. Husband fixed one of the door latches which was put on incorrectly by the manufacturer. Loading things in on a daily basis - we have a box sitting in our living room of "camper stuff".

We've been putting decals on related to my husband's hobby: Scale Aerobatics.

The fresh water pump failed again. 2nd since we bought the unit. 1st was under warranty, not this one. Anyone else having issues with these pumps? It not like the get used a ton, we boondock maybe 2 weeks a year.

Installed a light in the street side pass thru storage area. There was one in the curb side from Jayco, but they didn't bother putting one on the other side. Don't know why.

I asked the dealer for a quote last year when he had the front of the trailer apart for warranty work. Would have been an easy clean install with what they were doing. He quoted me $90, I said no thanks.

This ones been on my list for a while, glad to finally get it done.

Tomorrow I think I might try to tackle the accumulator tank I've had hanging out in my garage for a month. We'll see how it goes...
