Storage check. All is well, can't wait to get out there!
There was another Jayco in my storage lot too, a new 264BH... A little SLX bunkhouse model. They even bought it from my dealer. Looked good, my trailer was glad to have a Jayco buddy... That's just the 2 of us now...
ETA: It was a 264BHW.

I just had a power shut down by my PT50C. It indicated it was a high voltage shut down which means the voltage exceeded 132. The power came back on after the 2 1/2 minute delay and voltage on both legs now is 125'ish.
Glad I had the PT50C or I wouldn't have even known I had a problem unless some expensive electric item failed.
All is good.

Well bud I just took a job that I will be working 50/week minimum.
Best chances for days off are existing holidays. Tough to justify idk
Prolly won't. Just keep it in storage and make it happen when we can. At least we will have a camper that always stays new lol.

Gave the north point a bath. Also gave the front cap some wax. Too lazy to do a real wax job, so I just applied some spray on wax. Looks good though.

Being on a non-full hookup site, it was dump dump dump time.

I know how you feel, when I get into my busy season its also camping season and it can be hard to find the time to go. Sometimes I camp local, get everything set up and let the family camp then I go back to work!

I moved my 26BH to a new site, about 12 miles north of Moab. I found a great area for free dispersed camping on BLM land, on Willow Springs Road. I have a beautiful view of the snow capped La Sal Mountains right from my dinette window- looking at them now as I type! Another great thing is that there's excellent 4G Verizon service available, so I am getting fast internet with my Mifi hotspot. Phone service is kind of iffy (Consumer Cellular/ ATT), but as long as I have one or the other, I'll survive.
I packed everything up yesterday afternoon. Loaded everything in the back of the truck, packed the generator, and hooked the TT to the TV so it would be ready to roll this morning when I was.
Left Sand Flats camp area at 8AM. Dumped my tanks (FREE! at the Maverik gas station on the north side of Moab), and headed to the dispersed area. You can't just camp anywhere here. You have to set up in a spot that's been camped on before. Most were full, but I found one about a mile down Willow Springs Road.
Got everything unloaded that needed unloading, set everything up inside and out, and was done by around 11AM. Since it's pretty sandy/dusty here, I also built a little stand for my generator from a 4' length of 2x12 I've been carrying for years. Cut it into two sections, and tacked them together with a couple scraps of 1x4 I had laying around. Even got my rug set up out front.
I can stay here for 14 days every 30 day period, so I'm set here for two weeks. Sand Flats has the same rule, so technically, I'll have to find a spot elsewhere for two days after staying here, and before I can go back to Sand Flats.
Only potential problem here is that I'm close to the dirt road, and there have been quite a few dirt bikes scooting by. Don't know if it will cause a dust problem, but if it does, my windows close pretty snugly.
Filled my 6 gallon generator gas tank up, and the Honda is running.
Now that it's about noon, I think I'll eat a bite and take a nice, long nap.
Ahh, this is the life!

Sounds like a good day, and a very economical trip. I leave for Sherwood Forest Faire Thursday and will be back Monday evening.

Today (and yesterday) we added little round push LED lights so DW won't worry about the battery when we're dry camping, added some racks to hold glassware so DW doesn't have to wrap each piece separately, and added a couple of hooks for DW to hang her tote bags on. This evening I'm epoxying a holder for the broom and the mop in the bathroom, so they don't crash down in front of the door when we're traveling. In the morning we'll add some padding behind one leg of the Murphy bed so it doesn't bang on the wall (in the upright position) whenever we open the door.

Installed an OEM Atwood stove cover.
Got a Camco universal cover around the holidays, but did not realize you have to screw it to the countertop until I opened it. So I ended up ordering the Atwood brand and it fits like a glove, installed in about 10 minutes. Well worth the extra $25 for the OEM.

Another item checked off the list!

What Did You Do To Your Jayco TODAY?

Yes, it is bolted to the stove top, unlike the universal one that gets screwed to the countertop behind the stove top. There is a bracket that comes with the cover that comes up through the stove top and the two bolts hold it in place. Then the cover has brackets that clip into the bracket that is bolted into the stove top. Pretty easy to remove the cover if you had a large pan or just wanted to take it off to clean.

Today, DH attached a "thingie" to hold the broom and mop - one of those that you press the handles into (no pix yet, as the epoxy's still drying) - and we vacuumed and mopped. Alas, we're not going to have time to wash the exterior before we leave tomorrow morning, but ah, well. The inside's all spiffed up now. :-)

Hooked back up to park water after the county turned the park's water back on. No, it wasn't due to lack of paying the bill. The county water system had a leak on a major line approx 4 miles from here. They dug a hole that would rival a nice size swimming pool to get to the leak. It was on the right of way of a state highway.
