The main suggestion is to run it for 30 minutes under load at least monthly. I use a 300w shop light ands big fan. Also open the carb fuel drain if it sits w/o being used. Always use stabil or sea foam in the fuel.

I've got Stabil in the tank right now. I'll probably pull it out every week or so and run it a while, until all the gas is gone, then prep it for storage and put it away till I really need it. Even though it set me back several bucks, I'm glad to have backup. I just can't function without a generator.

While working on the HTT in 38 degree weather, I hooked up my Honda generator to power the Coleman Mach heat strip into action since the propane tanks are empty. Within an hour, the interior was a relatively comfortable 58 degrees. It was nice to see it works.

To be safe I unhooked my water pressure regulator last night and put it in the basement. I hope this was the last threat of freezing weather this year and as of 4:50am when I'm writing this it didn't get that cold, but better safe.....
I needed to use some of my fresh water tank anyway to keep it rotating since I keep it full all the time except when I'm traveling. Too many times parks lose water including where I am right now. We went without anyway water in the park for 2 days due to a major water main leak that serves this entire area.
One of my main rules after checking in to a park after the usual back in/level/slides out/plug in and turn on a/c is "fill the fresh water tank". We are not self contained if our fresh water tank is empty and generator fuel tank isn't full.

After 43 hours I got the Trailer finished had to do a lot off things where the manufacturer left off. Maybe I am to picky but love to make it our home away from home. Cleanup wiring, plumbing and installed with fasteners. Strengthen the structure off the dining area and beds. Fixed the poor fit of some of the cabinets etc. Installed dual batteries and cleaned up the wiring on the A-Frame. The stabilization jacks the self drilling bolts where loose in the holes so new 8mm bolts made that solid. One storage door resealed and fixed the water inlet check valve, also installed a valve in case the check valve fails. De-winterized and checked for water leaks. Sanitized the FW system and filled the FW Tank and weighed the TW. We still expecting frost so the heat stays on at night.
So we're ready for Easter Camping and while on the road we will be going over the Cat Scale.

Looks good! And I see your egg-carton charcoal hiding there under the fridge.
Hey, when I get back up to the Northwest next month, do you want to give my Jayco that treatment?!

Sure will Bill just give me a call and if we have time we'll tip a cold one. We'll be done be 3:30 at the latest.
Got 10 egg cartons in that space for my grilled Salmon and oysters, Tunce will take Tri Tip or Salmon.

The 2015 Jay Feather has been in storage for a year and has a total of 200 miles towed, so I cleaned and repacked the wheel bearings on all 4 wheels. It's a great feeling when you're done!

In the Hybrid the rear bunk has a void on each side so I made some shelves for a water bottle or a drink, a place for my phone and iPad + a few books.

Gave her a bath, hooked up, loaded up, and pulled to a relatively local CG for a couple of days for the first trip of the year!

Hey, it's not bad. Thanks.
Yesterday there was a terrible windstorm here in Moab, pushing ahead of the cold front that arrived with the rain yesterday afternoon. When the front hit, the temp went from around 60 to the upper 40's real fast.
Today I cleaned up the remnants of the 40mph gusts. I'm up north of Moab in the desert, and it's dry and dusty here, and a lot of the dust and sand moved. Most of it ended up on my carpet outside the front door. It was 1-1/2 inches thick over part of it.
After de-dusting the doormat I took a broom to all the window tracks and got the dust out of those, too. Even swept the dust from the bases of the truck windows to prevent scratching.
Luckily, there are no more windstorms of yesterday's magnitude arriving in the foreseeable future.

Installed a 150W solar panel and applied new sealant where needed while on the roof.

Put new white tape on the leading edge of the steps so their easier to see at night. The flip up steel risers were done 3 years ago so Tunces feet didn't slip off the step and hurt herself.
