Found one more thing to clean- the bath lavatory faucet had some mineral buildup, so I removed the handles and scrubbed it nice and clean. All good now!

I gently affixed the repaired TV antenna crank handle back onto the hex shaft. I'm not going to try cranking the antenna down until it's time to leave. No since taking a chance on it breaking again- it looks good where it's at right now.

Ed, it's odd yours leaked. Mine's never let a drop of water pass through in 5-1/2 years, and I've never done any of the recommended lubing/maintenance on it either. But thanks for mentioning the antenna option. I might switch to that style if the original one starts having problems.

Pulled her about 400 miles further down the road towards Nashville. Front cap was plastered with bugs after yesterday's drive, but the driving rain during today's trip washed most of them off - thankfully.

Finally hooked it up to my new to me tow vehicle... small crisis due to my waiting until the last minute to figure out my hitch shank didn't have enough adjustment for my new truck 2 days before we are leaving to go camping. Thankfully the camper place close to me had a used reese shank that worked great.

Changed out all halogens for LEDs. Same light but less heat and current usage.

I never used my crank up antenna Bill or performed any maintenance either except after each leak which didn't help. It was just a pain having to raise it for roof cleaning under it and continually having a towel on my bed in case it dripped again. It was to me an old outdated design that needed to go away and the new roof install was the time to do it.

I replaced my fresh water filters 3 days ago due to normal particulate matter in the water at this park. The filters normally last 2-3 weeks here vs 6 months at my home base. It is from the county water system and tastes good, but does have a lot of particulate matter in it. So I won't use the water without good two stage filtration.

I was out of the park most of yesterday and on my return I saw the park staff was working on a water main leak. I didn't have time to turn off my fresh water during this process and my sister was using water during the day. The result is both filters are plugged up this morning. So I will do what I have done for the past 5 summers here, operate on my fresh water tank for a few days and then run a lot of water on the ground for 30-45 minutes to flush out the lines as much as I can and replace the filters again.

It is a pain, but I like fresh clean water and I always keep my fresh water tank full when here to allow for outages. We had 11 outages here during the summer of 2015. As of today, 1 down and now many more to come?

Just replaced most of my LED bulbs with the old incandescent bulbs I saved. Since I'm on free electric this summer, there's no sense wearing out my LED's. They've been slowly crapping out on me, one at a time (cheap China product, I'm sure). I'll reinstall the LED's when I start boondocking again next fall.

The incandescents are sure a lot brighter than the LED's!

After 3 years of sleeping on the original short Queen mattress, Peggy and I replaced it with a Serta Perfect Sleeper Full Queen. I extended the bed frame with 5/8" Plywood and re-enforced it. It took everything we had to get the mattress in place with about an inch left over. The other thing we did today was installed a Black and Decker space saver toaster oven. It clears up counter space

Bed lift

Installed the bed lift kit on our Seneca and pleased with the outcome. Perfect to store the bedding for the grand kids that are't always along. Not quite the easy-peasy shown in the brochure on this model.

Towed it about 280 miles home from a long w/e in central Oregon - a rather gusty/windy drive with intermittent heavy rain. Needs a good bath now....

I just looked at your profile to see where you can Camp right on the beach like that. Nice! The sand in the trailer must get crazy though.

Also, thanks for your service!! [emoji631]

Most of the cheap LED's aren't properly providing the right voltage/current to the LED's. That is why they aren't lasting. If LED's are properly controlled, more costly, they will last for thousands of hours, but you have to pay for them.

I haven't found any "good" LED replacements that will work with my ceiling fixtures all of which are on dimmers. So I just stick with the old incandescents. I have only had 2 fail in 6 years full time.
