Use color correcting lighting filters to warm up coach LED lighting

Installed photography gels in each of the LED lenses to create warm white lighting in the coach: DW and I find the LEDs a bit too cool and harsh. It's hard to tell the difference in these photos but the gels make a big difference (top is before, bottom is after). The ones in these photos are 1/4 orange, but you can order the gel filters in different shades to further darken each light, or you can cut out two or three and layer them behind a lens to further soften/darken the light (I did this to our bedroom reading lights).

I washed half of it today. The 7 year old aluminum siding cleans and shines up nicely, thank you very much! Getting ready for some Fall camping which is my favorite time of year for it. After Labor day many put their rigs to bed for the year but we just get started good then.

I did 17 lights and still have leftover. And I used a soldering iron to melt a neat little center hole in each disk to accommodate the push button switch on each light.

Waxed all the cabinetry in the main living area (that's A LOT of wood!), vacuumed, swept, mopped and polished the floor(s). This evening hopefully, I can get on the roof and take care of a few things, but the afternoon rains have put a damper on work outside the trailer. It may just have to wait until next month's trip ...

This morning I painted the countertops with Rustoleum Countertop paint. Removed all of the curtains, mini-blinds, and shower curtain/rod. Just purchased this 2005 Jayco Jay Feather X 23B and I'm doing a remodel. As soon as the weather breaks I plan to paint the interior, cabinets and walls. Just too hot here in the 90's each day. Can only work for a couple of hours each morning. Exciting to see what everyone else is doing.

Sealed one more vent (only one left) and hauled it back to storage. Just too much other stuff going on to work on it this week, so the rest of the chores will have to wait a couple weeks until I go bring it home for our next adventure.

Hooked up and moved from Panama City Beach, FL to an area a bit safer from Tropical Storm Hermine. I didn't have choice since the state park where I was hosting evacuated the entire campground. I am now at Live Oak Landing outside Freeport, FL.

Changed out the locks on the storage doors and outdoor kitchen with 'vending machine' type locks.

Took advantage of much cooler weather today and fired up the furnace to check it out before our upcoming 10-day trip. We don't use the furnace much except when making longer trips where we might not have electric for a night or two while on the road. It fired right up so it's in good shape.

Just caught the latest update on this over lunch - good luck to you folks and anyone else in that area - hopefully it won't be too much of a ride. Here's to everyone staying safe.
