Where did you get the inspection done? Ours needs it too.

Got me an Acu Rite weather station. It was a must. Right no I'm on the beach winds averaging 17 gusts to 22.

Fridge would light on propane but not stay lit for an extended period such as an hour or 2. Got in there and pulled the burner tube and it was dirty and had some soot. Cleaned it up and now all is good, strong flame.

Since I am on my home base site until the first of January and since the night time weather is getting colder, I hooked up my external large propane (150 gallon) tank. I had it filled several months ago when propane was cheaper. I'm good to go now for cold weather.

Started at my local "Explore USA Superstore". That's where I had it done last year, and it was fairly easy. Problem is they only do inspections during a one hour window on weekdays, so you have to make an "appointment". Turns out the entire service dept was in a "meeting" during my appointment window. So I waited (and worked) for about 20 minutes before I gave up and went across the highway to a local shop who could see me immediately.

Try this link to find a local shop who can do it:
https://www.txdps.state.tx.us/RSD/VI...tationLocator/

Last night I topped off all the propane tanks and made a batch of ice. I also acquired all the tools and materials I'll need to grease my wheel bearings and my front drive shaft on the truck.

So much to do, SO little time!!

Is the inspection an annual requirement ? We don't have those for TT's in Canada yet, but if the Provinces can squeeze an extra dollar out of us I imagine we'll be having them soon.

In TX, we have to have the RV/Vehicle inspected before re-registering. Otherwise, no registration. It's not expensive (like $20), just a way to get more money out us!

Took our 2 month old GreyHawk 31DS, rarely-used-due-to-Jayco-and-dealer mess-ups, into her new storage lot. She'll be there for 3 weeks and then it's snowbird time!
We are hoping the screwed up VIN number SANFU gets worked out while we're gone....

I'm going out to start hunting for a problem on my water pump. Last trip it worked fine but when we got ready to leave it would not come on. All I had time for was to verify the fuses were good on the dc panel. Next step is to move all my stuff out of the under storage to access the pump.

Sure hope it's something simple.

Finally got it drained, embalmed, laced with dryer sheets (don't know if they really work, but smells good in the spring), covered up, and battery pulled and on a Tender. (WHEW!)

Tomorrow I'm going to raise up the closet poles in the front MB closets. I guess Jayco thinks your hanging baby clothes on these things.

I wasn't a big fan of the grill that came with my Hummingbird so I built an adapter mount so I could use my Weber Q1200..

Need to clean up the rough edges then paint flat black.

Norty, could you provide a link to that fixture? We have converted the entire camper to LED's except that over sink fluorescent. Thanks

Today I dumped my tanks, which involved two- 1.3 mile round trips dragging my waste tote over the rocky desert. Then I filled a few 6 gallon water jugs and topped off my fresh water tanks (siphoned the water from the jugs into my TT). And then, I drove into town and got 5 gallons of drinking water and 5 gallons of gas for the generators.

Now I'm occasionally firing up my pair of EU2000i's and running my air conditioner. Since I bought my parallel cord setup for my generators, I've gotten a little spoiled. Once the TT hits 90 degrees inside, it's time to cool it down to 74. Then I'll shut off the Honda's, and when the temp makes it back up to 90, I'll re-cool myself. I've gone through two cooling cycles so far, and about ready to start the third- it's 87 degrees inside now. (93 degrees outside)

Ha ha! I never heard it called that. So when they put you in the ground, have you been winterized?

After being away for 7 months we're back home. Got winterizing done and found a leak around the A/C, so that seal need to be replaced. I temporary tighten the bolts. Hope for nice weather next week to replace the seal. If they just raised the roof material around the A/C about 3/8" x 1-1/4 width with the roof material over top they could save the A/C perimeter from leaking. Well we have to get an A/C seal and some tape to do a proper job.

My Honda EU2000i generators are running like garbage. Actually 1 isn't running at all.
Took apart the Carb on both

Nothing

Oil was a little too full but i corrected that.

One of them will only run with FULL choke

Emptied fuel and put some fresh stuff in and nothing.

Any ideas would be great.

Here is the unit purchased. It is a few inches shorter and has a high and low position. My wife likes it and it was easy to replace. I wanted to replace it earlier but did not want to spring for the cost. Then last trip the ballast went out on my old one.

I got the DIST-LED616P which is essentially the same one you got, but 20" long. I wanted to light up more of my counter area also. For some reason the one I got it hard to find even on the Thin-Lite site, but it works great.
