I replaced the AC gasket(s) a few weeks ago but I forgot to add the pic. I think any unit that's 5 years old is past due for this simple project. On a scale of 1 to 5 I give it a 1 and a good hours time.

Emptied our Eagle HT over the past few days, but today I winterized it with the pink stuff. Will never trust air only!

This weekend I'll put the cover on and then patiently wait for the snow to fly!

INSTALLED a 3/8" ridge under the A/C seal:
So I replaced the A/C roof seal. Removed the A/C unit. And I careful lifted by loosening the Tipo roof material about 2-1/2" inwards all around. Then cut 2 psc. 18-1/4 x 2 x 3/8" and 2 psc. 14-1/4 x 2 x 3/8" plywood which I installed under the Tipo loosening material or so to say in the roof opening (glued to the existing roof ply). The wood strips I beveled on the outside before putting in place. Then glued the roof material back down. Cleaned the area thoroughly and installed the new seal on the A/C and Used an elastic caulking to seal all around the seal where I assumed water would get in. Then installed the A/C back on its place. I tighten the A/C with the 4 bolts and caulked the front of the roof seal so to prevent any rain while driving entering the seal. My purpose for installing 3/8 ply in the opening under the roof material is to create a higher ridge so the water never can enter the A/C opening. This way it should have been done in the first place by the manufacturer.

While a lot of you are just now winterizing our camping season is just getting started, though we probably could have gotten started about a month ago.

We have been using ours as a hotel recently due to some remodeling work and want to get it ready for this coming weekend. So Friday I drug out the vacuum and tidied up a bit. Saturday I moved it from out back in it's normal parking spot to a spot next to our house and next to my workshop for easy access to tools.

Finally yesterday my oldest daughter (6 yo) and I washed the entire trailer starting with the roof and working our way down. Good news is that there were no leaks, but I do have to replace a plumbing vent I broke with the brush, as well as address some sealant cracks and sun brittled items, like the range vent for example.

I also managed to make my own step wraps with grommets and heavy duty indoor/outdoor carpet. Hopefully they will last longer than the store bought ones. After work I'll get around to putting some Eternabond on some seams and re-sealing the antenna mast area with some Dicor. I also need to replace the screw cover strips and re-caulk the windows, doors, etc..., but probably won't get to it before this weekend.

Well, lets see ! Not all in one day but over the last few weeks, I installed a 4k onan lp gen set, added USB/phone chargers in several locations, changed all of my light bulbs to LED, added second 12 volt deep cycle battery, removed the factory installed gutter over the slide out which created a water leak in the wall above slide out, removed 6 gal water heater and replaced with 10 gallon.
Whew I'm tired

I installed one of these screen door opener things last night. Easy to install and hopefully it will help keep the flies out.

Towed it home from a week in Colorado. Great trip! Now it's time for the cleaning and then off to storage for another little while.

Washed it and test towed it with the new TV. Taking it out for a few days next week before I have to prepare it for the winter.

Wow, you guys are busy. Ours is already winterized. All I did today was drop the under mounted spare tire and flip it over so I can air it up as needed. Glad I did it because it only had 50 psi in it.

Finished unloading and cleaned up some last night. I guess I'm just dragging my feet because I don't want to take it back to storage.

I have been using this same DirecTV dish and tripod for a bit over 6 years with zero issues. This concrete block shown in this picture finally broke in pieces after I dropped it a few months ago and I have been using a 5 gallon bucket that I fill with water after setup. When I setup at Talladega a couple of weeks ago I got lazy and didn't use the bucket and also didn't set the legs of the tripod wide enough. One afternoon a pretty good wind blew up and the dish blew over. I set it back up, but I was concerned that is was possibly damaged since it landed right on the LNB arm.

At my home base site this morning where I am now I have another dish on a permanent mount, but I set up the tripod/dish that I use when traveling to see if it was still workable. It turned out not have any damage and setting up and aiming was a piece of cake as usual. Relieved.

Got the new ADCO cover put on. We have had close to record rainfall over the past 5+ weeks but finally dried out long enough to put it on.

Took fellow members advice and took sewer hose out of bumper. Looked inside and saw rust spots. Attached a wire brush to pole with duct tape and then painted inside with derusto. Thanks for the advice!
