Took the advice of many on here and replaced both factory analog thermostats with digital ones. Replaced the cool only one in the bedroom with:

Coleman Digital Wall Thermostat 8330-3462 Cool Only Thermostat

And the main living area heat/cool with:

Coleman Digital Wall Thermostat 8330-3862

Wire colors were different between the thermostat and the wire from the wall on a couple of the connections, so took a picture of everything from the factory setup to make sure I got the replacements wired correctly.

Was done with both in less than 30 minutes.

Started working on a new home for my camper here at home so it doesn't have to spend *next winter* at a storage lot 30 minutes away. The project will pay for itself in less than 3 years. Envious of everyone that has that kind of access to their second homes. The bonus is next time I'm sent to 'the dog house' I'll have better accommodations than in the brick and stick!

Went to a local CG to dump tanks from our long road trip. They were gracious enough to not charge me, so I will probably repay them by filling my propane tanks there when the time comes. Then it was back to storage for a few weeks. Perhaps an outing for Thanksgiving if I can get it together.

I am changing out the O gasket on my big slide out. First requires removal of the slide out awning to access the area where the gasket slides in. I got some of the hardware removed and cleaned up. Had to apply heat to a couple of the screws to get them free.

I'm at the point now where I need help so the job is postponed until my DW gets home from work.

There are some pretty good do it yourself videos on youtube that show how to change out the slide cover. That is what I am using to learn the "how to" on the COC slide awning. Before putting it all back together, I plan to clean/ inspect the slide out roof and lube all the hard to get to gaskets on the top of the slide.

Fixed a very small leak at my incoming two stage water filter. One of the brass fittings was leaking around the Teflon tape. I tried tightening it a bit, but that didn't work so I removed the fitting, cleaned out the threads and reapplied the Teflon tape. Problem solved. It was an extremely small leak, but it was inside the basement and after a week or so there was a very small puddle under the filter. Gone now.

The first freeze of the season is forecast for tonight and for the next couple of nights, sooooo I just filled up the fresh water tank and will be unhooking my hose and pressure regulator late this afternoon. Time for a couple of days on the fresh tank.

Finished up this little project yesterday, with a hand from my wife. Lubed all the seals and put all the hardware back.

Good to go. I now feel confident that replacing the awning fabric will be a breeze if it comes to that in the future.

Not to mine, but my dad's Class C. We replaced his converter. He'd been having intermittent 12V problems, and after a few of the "usual suspects", he traced it down to the converter. So he ordered one, and I helped him (meaning I did it) replace it this weekend.

It was a surprisingly easy job. The hardest part was getting his stuff out of the way so we had room to work on it. It's under his bed, and his bed is a residential model, so it's a tight fit in his coach. Once we had the mattress out, it was a simple matter of opening up the storage compartment, removing a couple panels, and we had access. A couple "set" screws, and the converter slides right out. Wire-for-wire swap, a quick test, snug all the other connections, button it all back up and we're back in business!

Actually did this about a week ago. While shopping for a new kitchen faucet for the house, I spotted a "Grab Handle" in Home Depot. Package said it was rated for 300 lbs. Installed it by the step going up to the bedroom to assist DW going up the step. Also opened the windows and put a shot of WD-40 on all the pivot points.

As soon as it warms up above freezing I will hook my fresh water hose/pressure reducer back up and refill my fresh tank for the next cold weather period. It isn't forecast to be below freezing for another week. I used less than 1/3 of my fresh tank these past several days.

She hadn't been out since the hurricane. Went for a quick trip and the AC was vibrating wildly. Cleaned this up - industrious little dudes.

Grabbed a couple of cans of Great Stuff PestBlock and spent an hour or two sealing numerous gaps and seams between the frame and underbody membrane as well as a few openings in the floor under the sinks of our new 330RSTS. After it hardens in a few hours, will neaten up some of my handiwork as well as recheck to make sure I didn't miss anything.

Just got the TT back from the dealer for warranty repair. Replaced the rear window which leaked pretty badly (thank you Hurricane Matthew). Glad it was still under warranty.

Took the door off the bank of drawers because it wasn't needed to begin with. Made new door face plates and added door pulls. Kitchen work space is very efficient for just a 21' hybrid and table is never used for prep work. Also have an 18" drop leaf to the left of the sink.

I replaced my old and weathered looking vent cover with a new Camco 40433 unit. Removed the old one and dropped it down to the ground and when it hit, it shattered into a thousand pieces. My wife was inside and the crash sound spooked her pretty good, crazy! Then I took off the screen door to replace the screen material and noticed that the upper hinge had snapped at the joint, not sure how I'm going to repair that!
So glad I got that vent cover replaced because the heavens opened up with a mighty heavy dose of rain. I was going to pull it over to my brother in laws house so we could open the slides all the way, (something I'm not able to do where it's currently stored), and get the carpets professionally cleaned. I decided to do it another day, just too nasty out there to play move the 5th wheel today.

In for a Repair

Dropped it off at the dealership we bought it at. After an 8k mile trip and having excessive wear on the inside of 3 tires, it is getting new axles and tires. And winterized.
