The dually is a lot more work than the single rear wheel! My kiddos keep telling me that the new truck has a big butt...I just keep telling them that she's "big boned"! I'll gladly wash your truck if you wash my 5er!

Took advantage of an surprisingly sunny and dry day here in the PNW and pulled the cover off. Hadn't planned on doing that but just couldn't pass up the good weather and the fact that by early afternoon the cover was actually dry. Who knows when the next chance might be...

Checked things over inside after a long cold winter. Deployed the awning and was greeted by a rainstorm as it deployed. Left the awning out for several hours to dry out. (I was sure I put it away last year dry . ) spent some time on TV today working with the back-up/ rear view camera system. So far all.is proceeding well.

Happly camping

Looks really good. We've got a 2015 WhiteHawk. We've used a wash/wax liquid but never gotten results like that. Do you have a power washer or apply wax by hand?

Here is what I do:

Use power washer to get bugs, heavy dirt off.
I use a foam cannon to apply soap (I used turtle wax wash/wax)
Then use an RV wash brush to clean the trailer.
Use power washer to rinse.
Apply meguiars express wax spray on wet trailer and dry with microfiber towel.

What year did you trade in? How was the depreciation.

I was looking st going with a full eagle 355 but they offered me $18,000 for my 2016 Eagle HT with every option. Told them to fly a damn kite. A$$clowns.

The unit is at Camping World this week where they are installing an automatic awning and automatic levelers. Next up will be redoing the floors, reupholstering the dining set cushions and replacing the sleeper sofa.

2015. Not sure I got a great deal but I sure got a nice trailer. They gave me 26k on trade after they lowered the price on theirs about 20% off sticker. I'm not sure if "sticker price" is an arbitrary figure but I hear of people getting 30% off at least. Making great deals isn't something I'm known for.

Keep waiting. There are three snowstorms coming our way within a week.. You might be on the right side of the Green Mts.. No such luck for us in the Whites.

Last Tuesday's nor'easter should have been named 'Marty brought his Jayco home on Saturday so lets dump 2' of snow on him Tuesday', but I suppose 'Stella' was easier to say

Flushed the anti-freeze out of the water lines. Hopefully this weekend I'll get the sanitize of the system done. Also had to redo the caulking around the hinges on the external water heater cover. When I drained the tank last fall I noticed that the blob of caulk over one of the hinges was just hanging on by a thread. When I pulled it off today I found it was rather brittle on the bottom side and didn't appear to have ever had much adhesion.

Installed knobs on pull down shades. Couldn’t find braided rings like in my grandmother’s 1910 house, so just used round drawer knobs - lot easier than grabbing the whole shade.
