I can't see just throwing it away and even thou they say it's food grade I really don't know anyone that would drink it. Where can you buy it for $1.99 a gal.?

I agree. I wouldn't drink it either. My only fear is dilution over time, unless it's dumped after so many re-uses. Point is, one year I blew out the water lines on our trailer. After a week of extreme cold, I chickened out. Drug the battery to storage, opened trailer, and tried to pump the antifreeze in. It wouldn't go. Water settled in a few areas and froze with no damage, but most notably, in the pump it froze. I had to hook hose directly to the RV pump, hold the hose high to gravity force antifreeze into the pump. I risked cracking the pump or impeller by cycling it on and off until enough antifreeze got in the volute and broke down the ice and let the impeller spin. I still blow out the lines, but add antifreeze after so it's not diluted. I'm sure it still dilutes with water that is not fully purged, but how much, who knows. It's a gallon or so that fills the lines.
I usually buy it on sale here by the case of 6 with a rebate. After rebate, it's $2 a gallon.
Thanks for responding. Here in the Midwest, maybe I'm overkilling it, but after that pump scare, and then the water system splitting open on my FIL's pop up from freezing, I'm gun shy.

Bd, this is the one I used. Great product. The tapered edge worked wonders around the uneven caulk areas.

Well I just bought a 2017 Jayco Gray Hawk DS31 and have found several areas of poor workmanship, lack of Quality Control on the line, nothing that I could not fix, but they must be under pressure to get stuff out..... Wood work had some dents and some was not nailed in place but flopping............... they need to pay more attention to each rig coming off the line.

Looked at it all covered up, wishing I could open her up or better hitch the wagons and go. We are holding off until June. We fully detailed her about two weeks ago and put the cover on. We are having to help each other stay out of it, leave it covered. Anticipation, Anticipa-a-a-tion . . . Sing it Carly!

Got inside to check her out. Refreshed the Dri-Z-Air, made sure the potty dump valve was still holding liquid, measured the mattress, and ordered a memory foam one to replace the original. It survived the winter quite well!

Did that Thursday. I feel lost since there is nothing but a blank spot where I park my "man cave". The wife is hoping it will be back soon so she can get me out of the house...

Cleaned out the under bed storage and reorganized it. This was long overdue and we finally had another day nice enough to lay everything out for a bit. Just have the roof cleaning/inspection and wheel bearing repack/brake inspection left and we'll be ready to hit the road... 😸

Hooked the battery up, connected TT to shore power, lowered stabilizer jacks, installed X-chocks and get the bed and bunks ready for a night at camp driveway with the kiddo's.

Camping in ours. Have had beautiful weather down here in SC. While at the campsite noticed a motorhome go down our road with its passenger side slide open. I got up and saw it hit another campers outdoor kitchen door. The motorhome never stopped but the camper owner was there. Somehow it didn't cause damage despite the loud bang we heard...

After a particularly heavy rain squall early this morning I noticed a small puddle of water underneath the front window. The front roof seam looks good all the way across - no loose caulking anywhere as do the running lights on the front. Further inspection of the exterior seal of the window led me to believe that was the likely source. I cleaned and dried all the voids on both sides plus the top and then filled with Dicor No-Sag sealant. I'm sure it won't be long before the next rain so I will know soon enough.
