7 tons total so far. 4 for the initial parking spot 3 to extend. I'll prolly get 2 more loads then some mulch to finish it off Saving $$$$ picking it up myself and its kind of worked ouy better this way. With my back it's better to handle smaller quantities than dealing with 1 large dump truck load.

I understand completely. I buy it quite often by the tri-axle. Usually 22.5 tons per load. You need a few toys to move that amount of product.

I'd be happy to bring one down to you but I don't want to think of what it would cost to haul it down there.

I have thought about doing that myself. The sofa seats two uncomfortably and the bed in it is last resort type stuff.

Took off the broken skylight dome and cleaned off all the sealant goo, ready to fit the replacement next weekend. (covered the hole with plastic, for now)

I sent an enquiry about a replacement to Jayco Parts Direct, "Your Authorized Jayco Parts Dealer" and heard nothing at all. I've had time to order one from Amazon, and have it delivered, while I was waiting to hear back from them.

Installed MORryde heavy duty shackle kit

Installed the MORryde shackle kit yesterday, trailer has been used the last 3 years averaging around 2000 miles/year. The plastic bushings were shot !!! The worst bushing was the center bolt of the factory equalizer. Install was about a few hours with the help of my buddy Brian. The kit didnt come with instructions, had to be downloaded. The new bushings were quite snug in the equalizer so we wire brushed the holes with a dremel wire wheel. While my buddy Brian was underneath the trailer he noticed the rear axle brake wiring came apart at the splice by the brake backing plate because the wiring was probably too short (saving inches) and came apart from suspension movement.

Upgraded from two 12 volt deep cycle coach batteries to two 6 volt batteries.
Things are looking much better now in that department after our latest four-day trip.

Good work on the bolt kit. I was surprised to see that my entire system with the CRE3000 already had the metal fittings in it. Good call and nice to see it’s done.

Nice work, if I do say so myself.

Bearings. Re-packed and serviced with new seals. Checked ages on the 2 rear tires. Shocked to find one original from 2006. Was already planing on replacing the 2 anyway so no big deal.

Also unzipped the cover and put some junk in it we've been holding on to for a few months. Found no damage form the winter. We had it covered and only had one decent snow storm where I went and swept the snow off the top. No critter damage either. Where it's stored I doubt we ever have a problem. Plus a couple times I drove through the lot there was a cat hanging around the area and plenty of other storage buildings in the area that would be easier for them to get into.

Talking

I loaded the Seneca for our short trip to Baker, Ca. about 80 miles away. We are involved in the Baker to Vegas Challenge Cup Relay. We are part of the RV Support for the race stations.

Our first day

We took our rig out for the first time today! Impromptu, mid week, Spring Break trip. We had fun setting up our TT in considerably less time than our previous pop up and getting things all organized. Had friends out to campsite for dinner and take a look (they'll be purchasing a similar model soon!). Excited for the fun, adventures and memories to come!!
