Not quite just today but we had our new trailer delivered to our favorite resort on Monday and spent until today working on setting up the rig while it rained about 8.75 inches and had up to 24 mph gust of wind. We were snug as a bug unless we had to go out. We are very happy with Manteca trailer and our Jay flight SLX 8 Baja/Rocky Mountain edition.

Just set up camp for our 1st outing of 2019 at Hunting Island State Park in Beaufort, SC. Already have a list as long as guerrilla's arm of things I've forgot, routines, etc. You'd think I hadn't been camping since mid-November. I'll post a couple of pics tomorrow.

After two decent snow storms I had some time to check on the ole girl. 20 years old and still dry, solid, and as useful as the day it left the factory.

After 10" of heavy wet snow last week I finally got a chance to run out and check on ours, no leaks, and no signs of any mice. Went to the KC RV Show, DW saw one she liked could be an upgrade in the near future.

We've had warm temps and rain today a lot has melted but could get a little ice and snow overnight.

Trying to move it. The wheel on the hitch is encased in ice.

With only three weeks of warranty remaining, we took it out for a couple nights to look for new issues and double check my own little repairs here and there. Only thing to report was an intermittent dime size leak at the toilet foot pedal. Can't really justify a month or more at the deal for an intermittent issue so I'll replace the valve myself.

Since we have been camping near Quartzsite, I have stopped 3 water leaks at elbow fittings......not the pex, praise the Lord! Recaulked the kitchen sink with questionable local hardware store caulk, and Im currently waiting for a mobile repairman to replace the circuit board on my Dometic water heater.

We bought the 2019 212BQW in Sep. of 2018, so everything is still under warranty. Unfortunately I will have to pay the $75 service call since the closest Jayco dealership is in Phoenix, and the closest Dometic repair shop is over 40 miles away. The local repair guy said that I can try and wrestle with Jayco to see if they will pay his service fee. A new circuit board costs between $145 - $215. Ouch!

Warranties are great, but if I understand and know how to fix the problem, I should be able to get the circuit board tested, free, fix it myself, and have Dometic reimburse me for the cost of the circuit board alone. Instead, I have to have a "certified" tech do the job to satisfy the requirements of the warranty.

Oh, and the LARGE N8X fridge has some latch issues on the lower door.

Bought 120 square feet of vinyl plank flooring to replace the aging floor in my trailer, I’ll get it installed in the next few weeks.

Did the CHF both front and rear on my Entegra Vision 31V, added an amp-l-start, setup the TST TPMS system. Need to install a 12v outlet in the bedroom for the CPAP and mount and wire the TST repeater, but there’s always tomorrow.
