Took it out on our first camping trip of the year. Decided to do a 4 day weekend. De-winterized it. Everything worked flawlessly with no problems. Man, it felt good to hitch it up and spend some time in it!

So today I finished mounting the radio box and antenna for my Sirius XM, then wired up a pair of Altec Lansing Mini Life Jacket Jolt speakers to supply more sound and voice to each seat (I am pretty deaf) on an individual basis. Tomorrow I should finish the install of the speakers in these goofy little pockets in the header over the windshield of our 2019 Seneca.

Yes I did! We are planning to upgrade trailers later this year so I needed to solve my low payload problem. This time around Ford had the best value for capability I was looking for. With the 4.30 gears I got 15K tow capacity and 1500 max tongue weight plus about 3 times the payload of the RAM.

Another 150 miles on the odometer and I'll be through the break-in mileage and ready to hitch up. Big plus is the DW likes driving it better than the RAM. There was something about the visibility out the front of the RAM that she didn't like - no such issue with the F-250. Can't argue with that...

Just returned from a great first camping trip of the year (finally!) I lifted the bed to remove stuff stored below and heard that ugly sound of splintering wood. The flimsy stapled corner brace just ripped right out, causing the strut to pop off. So, the next project will be to screw in some T braces, like Jayco should’ve done in the first place. Thankfully, the important stuff — furnace, fridge etc — worked like champs.

Cleaned the awning before another weekend getaway. Waisted my time tho due to poor time management. Rather than doing it first thing in the day so the sun could dry it I did it late in the day. Left it open over night hoping it would be dry so I could put it away before I left for work. Went to roll it back up an it was still damp so I'm guessing it wasn't much of a success.
Turning on the fridge today an loading some "stuff" back up to leave Friday.

Still has the cover on it! Went inside to check her out, added a little more antifreeze to the toilet, and changed the Dri-Z-Air. Hey, it's spring in New York State. When it's 70* out, it's raining. When it's sunny, it's 40* and just short of an EF1. Oh well, maybe it'll be better in a couple weeks (sigh)!

Wasn't today, but replaced the blown 30amp fuse that powers the tongue jack.
Plan on installing the vent cover, upgrade the shower curtain & mount the bike rack.

On my 2018 174BH, I ran a new 20' 1/2" ID propane hose from the manifold to the new auto switching regulator on my also new double tank tray. The old 15' hose ran to a regulator which was mounted on the diamond plate of the front of the trailer, so was too short to reuse. While under the trailer, I cleaned up all the wiring and tucked things up and out of the way.

Installing my battery disconnect tonight!

Installed a Heng's VortexII fan in the bathroom. Trailer didn't have a fan so I tapped into the LED light in the bathroom.

Finished installing the shelves in the left Wardrobe and started putting the under bed storage wall in place. Tried repairing the severed umbilical cord but was not completely successful. Will try again next weekend...

I put one in my camper last Fall. Works like a charm.

I had a problem with the shroud because the openings and the framing didn't quite match up, but once I figured out the problem, a little trimming here or there, and all was well.

You bet! As I recall you had a pretty good trip down to Vegas and back, though it's only rumors since what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas....

I just sat here and watched my brand new wash/wax job get rained on all day. But at least it was clean and shiny for a while.

Swapped out the clevis slips on the safety chains for something bigger to fit the Class V hitch on the new F-250. Found these 3/8" slips at Tractor Supply - made sure to verify they fit before leaving to avoid future frustration.

I bought the same hooks for my old trailer. I was always tought the hooks should hang the opposite direction. I just ground down a bit of metal from the back of the hooks. Then they fit the other way.

I still think that hitch connection is a terrible design. . . .

I was cleaning up some stuff the other day and I found an old plywood box that I made 20 or so years ago. I thought this would be great as a battery box and storage on the trailer tongue. So that's what I did. There's room for the battery, the handle for the WDH, the wrench for the X-chocks and maybe the X-chocks themselves. Everything I need to hook and unhook, without having to fish around in the back of the truck. The first pic is the trial fit, the second is the finished box with 3 coats of paint, and the third is the inside. Since I already had the box and the paint, I just had to spend $3.50 on the latch.
