It is my camp ground of choice on the island. Level concrete pads nice pool, splash pad for the kids and a nice play ground. It’s close to town and there are quite a few pocket beaches close by that you can park on the beach for beach access. There is no sand in the camp ground which is great in opinion. I don’t want the sand all in the trailer, in the truck is bad enough.

I'm delighted to find this forum this morning, it's very professional! I haven't figured out how to post something yet though. Where do I click on to do this?
I just bought a Jayco Greyhawk 2004, with 80,000 miles and like brand new and we love it! We're an Irish family band The Byrne Brothers and will be on tour for 4 months.
I have one problem, my water from the water tank isn't working. City water working perfectly. Any ideas how to fix this would be hugely appreciated. Kind regards, Tommy

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new to you Jayco.
1st thing I would do would be to locate your pump and make sure that you have power to it when it is switched on. They are a pretty basic design. Just a pump and a pressure switch. And, they are not generally expensive if you find that you need to replace it.

Topped off the tire pressure (interesting that all tires were already at their specified pressures after a few months sitting in storage; I've never had tires not lose ANY pressure before). De-winterized: Filled the fresh tank and primed the water system. Treated both tanks with Happy Camper. Put some beer in the fridge. Packed some personals and a little food. Re-zeroed the leveling jacks (repair shop didn't do a very good job with this, so I fixed it). Tested most systems. Topped off battery with distilled water (just in case; I'll be replacing it this summer).
Just about ready to go!

Thanks! I Made the pads out of some scrap 4x4 and pressure treated plywood we had. I think they are 12x12 but unfortunately can’t verify as they’re at home in MA and we’re in PA

Towed her 430 miles from home to PA today. Overall a good trip, though mileage was awful as we were bucking a headwind a good portion of the way here. And of course, as it seems to always do for us, we hit some rain and the rig is now filthy.

Yeah we aren’t in the best spot. Really close to each other at our sites but most of the other sites have plenty of space. Next time we’ll know which sites to choose [emoji23]

Just got back from checking it down at the RV yard. We had a freak hailstorm last night that pelted us with “rocks” the size of ping pong balls. In our part of N. California that’s unheard of. Never seen that in 50 years. Of course the metal siding of the Jayco looks like someone took a ball peen hammer to it. I counted 38 small dings in the front. I assume insurance won’t cover an act of nature and don’t think it’s worth ripping off siding anyway. Any other “fix?” I can now really sympathize with you Midwest folks!

If you have comprehensive insurance coverage (as nearly all lenders require), the will cover storm damage in most states. California? Idunno....

Thanks. We do, with a $500 deductible. I’ll have to check. We’ve had wildfires, “snowmageddon” and freak hail so far in 2019. Floods next, I guess
