Nothin exciting. Leveled it up then since we didn't get to back flush the blank tank on the last trip I filled the black tank a couple of times to flush it. Maybe after or if I get over my don't want to do anything mood today I'll poor more water softener an Tide in the tank

Marker light replacement

Our 21 QB TT is 2 years old; I replaced the marker light (front driver's side). Almost lost the wire on the inside - had to fish it out with a coat hanger.

Cleaned her up after 4 days camping! She's ready to rock n roll again. 2 weeks of work, then some time in the woods.

Took it to my dad's for the weekend. Everything ran fine (until we got home). I installed another magnetic baggage door catch while we were out, but the rest of my doors will require struts for various reasons (mostly because they are under slide-outs).

The thing that went wrong: I walked into the MH last night to get another load of "stuff" back in the house and the CO alarm was beeping. Not alarming, but that constant beep that indicates it isn't getting enough 12V. Weirdest thing. So I fiddled with it for a minute, but had to leave for dinner. Walked in when I got home and it was silent. Walked in later, and it was beeping again, but only when the AC wasn't running (I could be wrong about that, I may just not have been able to hear it)? The rig is plugged in to 50A service adapted to 30A from the side of my house.

Just one more thing to fix...

Thinking I have to replace our bathroom tap
It bothers me that our Jay flight is only 3 years old. The water just runs even when the taps are in the off position. Anyone have experience getting the tap handles off? There is a little opening but allan keys and screwdrivers and not loosening them.
There are no bolts below the taps so I assume they are screwed in from the top. Any ideas are welcome.

I used the old mattress topper from our 26BH and cut it to fit my DD's bunk bed in our new TT. A $3 electric carving knife from the thrift store made cutting the foam much easier than using a utility knife.

You may want to start a new thread on this and add your TT to your signature. Most of the Flight series (at least the 2 I have owned) have cheap, plastic faucets that aren't serviceable. Most people upgrade those with metal faucets from the Depot or Lowes.

I saw a video that showed how regular tank cleaners were ineffective and I wanted to really clean the sides of my black tank so I got a 360 rotor sprinkler head, a 3/4 " brass nipple and a hole to male thread adapter, fed the rig thru my toilet and hit the water. it rinsed it really good. I thought I ahd it clean before but I got a lot of goop out with this method. if the sides are dirty the sensors will not work properly.

Sold my Camper...

After doing a ton of modifications to my 95 Jayco 1207 pop up, I sold it. I’ll be honest, I have a bit of sellers remorse. I had a great set up but decided I wanted something with hard sides so looking at a fifth wheel. It went to a great family, that will appreciate everything I did to it.

I finally got time to finish up my modifications to my fuel line going to the generator. Then got the floorboards inside the cab insulated. Really hoping that it makes a difference on the hot feet.

Next project is running the Sirius XM antenna up to the roof.

Almost time to hit the road!!!!!

Inspected her thoroughly after the hail, storm that came through last night. Thankfully no damage, but others in the park weren’t so fortunate. Thankfully no one was hurt, but a branch came down on a truck camper and the camper appears to be a total loss. I don’t believe the truck was damaged.

Gave her a bath, shut everything down and took her back to storage ... in the rain.

What Did You Do To Your Jayco TODAY?

Took her back to the dealer to finish the warranty work that we were waiting on parts for.

Installed a ParkPower by Marinco 30ARVKIT 30 Amp, 125V RV Conversion Kit and it worked first time I tried it. Go figure. Took about an hour.

It has been just terrible with the rain and storms this week. Hopefully it will be better after today.

I certainly has been a rough week, with Tuesday the worst of all. Forecast for thee next several days looks good though.

Update on the truck camper that was damaged - got a better look at it yesterday and it looks like it may be repairable. Worst damage appeared to be a broken jack and ripped off awning. Couldn’t see the roof though so there may be some damage up there.
