Began Phase II of the dewinterizing/servicing/cleaning tasks. Got it out of storage, got a State inspection, parked it in my driveway and just sat in it trying to decide what Phase III will be tomorrow. The DW came in and told me that it looked like the outside was fading (its not, it's just dirty and needs a coat of wax after a bath) so now I guess I know what Phase III will be....thanks, Dear.

BAL stabilizers

The SLX series, like my 145RB, comes with only one pair of jacks in the rear, so I had my dealer install another set in the front before delivery, last year. However, the trailer still moves a little, so I bought some BAL lock-arm stabilizing bars from Amazon ($73.87 with free shipping) to install on the front jacks. Cannot use on the rear jacks because the drain piping is in the way. They arrived today while I was working, so I installed them right after dinner. Installation proved to be easier for me than getting up from lying on the driveway at my age and shape.

I didn't flush the antifreeze from the pipes yet because we had a another hard freeze last night. Still, our first outing of the season will be coming soon.

Yesterday I ran all the gas out of my old Honda generator, drained the bowl, and squirted some oil into the the combustion chamber. It's good for storage for years now.

Today I removed both of my T105 batteries, washed them off with Dawn detergent, then baking soda/water. Dried them out, reconditioned them with my Xantrex charger, reinstalled into the box, cleaned all connectors and posts, attached the wiring and coated with battery terminal protective spray.

Water level was still good, and it's been 6 months since I've added any. These Trojan batteries don't lose much water.

Installed my new Adco Delux Windshield Screen on the Redhawk today. Ordered on Monday from Amazon and it arrived yesterday. Need to wash the MH and prep it for a long migration north to Cape Cod next week.

Didn't do anything to our Jayco, but found out today that our new camper has been built. Very excited. Now just waiting for it to be delivered to the dealer. So I'll be ordering some stuff for it (EMS and WDH).

Washed it today to remove all the bugs from the trip last week. Got my portable DirecTV satellite dish and assembled it. Going to try it out tomorrow and see if I can't get a signal before heading out next week.
