The incandescents are sure a lot brighter than the LED's!
Most of the cheap LED's aren't properly providing the right voltage/current to the LED's. That is why they aren't lasting. If LED's are properly controlled, more costly, they will last for thousands of hours, but you have to pay for them.
I haven't found any "good" LED replacements that will work with my ceiling fixtures all of which are on dimmers. So I just stick with the old incandescents. I have only had 2 fail in 6 years full time.
