I have a bad habit of not actually latching the storage compartment doors, and I don't notice until we're on the highway and I see them flying open in the mirrors. So I ordered some push button latches from Amazon. Just push on the door and it clicks shut, and push the button on the latches to open. There's three doors on our trailer, but I only did one because it's starting to rain. One regular and one locking latch per door, and they use the same 751 key. Here's the before, and the after.

Get switch from Amazon. Falcon switch. Opened panel, followed wires from switch. Going to awning light. They were paired together. Cut the 2 wires and put switch in line following switch instructions.

I got mine from Amazon.ca, but I'm sure you can find them on Amazon.com. Do a search for part numbers 93-303 for the locking ones, and 93-304 for the non-locking ones. They shipped from China, but still arrived before the estimated delivery date.

I had to made the hole in the door a bit larger; the original locks and latches were 3/4" diameter, and the new ones are 1" diameter. I made a guide by drilling a 1" hole in a scrap piece of wood and clamping it to the door over the existing hole.

My original RVQ grill that came with my Designer finally rusted out. All of the internal parts just died. My sister in law has a grill that came with her previous rig, I don't remember the brand but not Jayco, that she had never even opened it. I looked at it and it is an RVQ. Not the same model as the one I have, but the same mounting bracket that attaches to the existing bracket on the side of my rig and the same propane plug in hose. I now have a new RVQ and the cost was zero. Life is good. I don't use it often, but often enough that I wanted a new one.

Installed the Dish playmaker ll on the roof.

Yahoo my Seismic 4116 is now "post" wired for satellite!

Now if the Wally would stop doing a complete reset every morning, it is getting old.

In the past two days, I've added a flag pole holder to the rear bumper. I probably way overspent on the accessories to do that, but I'm happy with the results. I got a 2 inch received that clamps on the rear bumper, a flag pole holder that will accept a pole up to 2.3 inches. Unfortunately, the extendable flag pole I bought is only 1.25 inches in diameter. So thinking like the former aircraft mechanic I am, I bought a couple pieces of different sized stick hose, slid one inside the other, and a piece of 1 inch heater hose about 4 inches long that I slit and wrapped around the flag pole. The two pieces of stick hose went inside the the holder and then the pole got put in that, It holds it very firmly with no excess movement. I can pull the holder off the receiver and stow it inside the camper so everything is very compact. Then today I finished packing, filled the water tanks, hitched up and its ready to roll first thing in the morning. I'll take it to work then on my lunch break run it up to the lake for the weekend. 3rd trip this season, where has the summer gone? Don't know why the pic is sideways, its right side up in my computer, LOL!

I performed a very thorough exterior wash on the trailer and the awning today, it was well worth the time it took, getting it ready for a camping trip to the sawtooth mountains this weekend. To clean the underside of the awning, I extended it out fully, and then kept rolling it so the underside was on the outside of the roller, letting my brush scrub better, it came out really good.
