Installed portable ham radio antenna on the ladder. I actually just used the ladder to hang the pvc pipe on the ladder. Easy to put up and remove for travel.

Installed a tile backsplash in the kitchen. It doesn’t look it because of the color of the lights, but the tile is white. Very challenging to get it started when absolutely nothing is level or square.

Do not tell the wife, I was looking at new Travel Trailers while the TV was getting serviced. I like some of the new updates in the Imagine TT's. They have a package for full timers so the warranty does get questioned by the factory if you are a full timer. A new TT is not in the budget now, but always fun to look. I was looking at 2019 lot models.

I love the tile job robkelly looks great!! Sorry to hear about your slide Magnolia Tom. Hope you can get it fixed fast. Maybe a new TT with more slides is not a good idea for us. Hmmmmm

After almost three weeks at dusty campgrounds, rain storms on travel days, and then two weeks at the dealer for some warranty work, she finally got a much needed bath. She looks like a different girl tonight

Just installed

I installed a motion sensor LED lamp behind the step of my 195RB. Works great. I also installed a reflective strip on the step edge. It fluoresces nicely even in the dimmest light.

I will try and send a better picture and get the brand for you when I get home from work this evening. If I recall correctly, the LED lamps were actually purchased at a Costco in the US a couple years back. I had one that was laying around and decided to repurpose it.

Stay tuned!

Fixed my 2 1/2 year old Atwood water heater today. It worked on electric OK, but not on gas. The igniter would click and spark, but no gas flowing. The solenoids would click when the igniter turned on, but no gas. Replaced the gas valve assembly and now it works like new. I found the gas valve on Amazon for $126.00...an exact replacement.

Now it's just a matter of suffering thru another 2 days before we get to head out

Looks great! Do you mind sharing what reflective strip you used and where you got it?

Tom, did you ever get your slide squared away?

Don't know if you saw my recent post that my kitchen slide is acting up again. Doesn't go all the way out.......1 1/2 inches to be flush on the TV side and 3/4 inch on the fridge side. Called Lippert and they had me do the sync drill which I've tried several times to no avail. At least, for now anyway, it retracts completely. Will be in a CG in Amite, LA for two months and will bring it to a very reputable Jayco dealer in Lacombe, LA to look at it.

You can pick this stuff up at many retail places in Canada but I got mine at Princess Auto for about $8

https://www.princessauto.com/en/detail/yellow-reflective-safety-tape/A-p8242752e

It is a 1"×2' strip. It's made by Life-Safe which is a division of Incom Manufacturing Group.

I should also mention that I had to cut the reflective strip to fit the front of the step. I think it was about 1/4" off the width of the tape as the front of the step is under 1" thick. Use alcohol to prep the surface for adhesion. I propped the step facing up with a pail so I could more easily apply the tape. Once it touches down it's really on there so you get one chance to make it straight... This was my second attempt.
