Smile Converted AC Unit with Cieling Controls to a Wall Thermostat

Really explored my Jayco X213 today to figure out how to run thermostat wire from the wall where the furnace control and tank sensor display is to the ceiling AC unit.

Turned out to be a lot easier than I thought. Now our AC and Heater are controlled by a single wall mounted thermostat -- no more getting up to turn on or off the AC when we get too cool!

Yep a can of any beverage will float (ok I know soda and beer so maybe not any beverage) but they warm quickly as I'm sure you know lol....

I tried to "grand-child proof" the screen on the main entrance door by adding push bars just above and below the opening for the door handle. I'd rather spend the time and a few bucks than to have to get after them for messing up the screen.

Camped in it. Had a nice weekend with family south in VA. Sad it went so quick. Heat index was 100+ every day. Camper has dual ac units but the single main 15k kept us ice cold. Set the analog thermostat (yes need to go digital) between 70 and 75 and was good to go. Even cycled off and didn't run constantly. Very happy. Maybe wasted the money to order dual ac units but maybe someday it may be needed?

Haven't picked up my mail for a few days. I will check when I get back from my little road trip.

Anyone lift their 5er up to level with the truck?

Where can I go to do this.
How will it be stable in a full lock 90 pivot turn

Received my BlueOx Sway Pro on Thursday. Tried to get the ball off my old hitch to put on the Sway Pro, but I couldn't get it off without buying more tools, so I just bought another hitch ball instead. Will probably try to get the ball on one evening this week.

I also found out how AWESOME Blue Ox customer service is. I needed a deeper drop than the standard shank could offer, so I called them up and they shipped a new shank immediately. They also sent me a FedEx label to send the original one back. Just like that! Took me like 10 minutes on the phone to get it all taken care of! It was REALLY refreshing to have such good service.

I can't wait to get it all set up and give it a try!

Took delivery of our new queen mattress to replace the Denver mattress that came with the unit. Heading out Friday for 16 nights and looking forward to waking up without a sore back every morning.

What did you get fore a replacement mattress? Also, is it thicker than the original. My wife does not want to go higher than the shelves on each side of our 195RB.
