Going to use it instead of the bigger, heavier camp chef.

Love my Blackstone! All the girls in my life make me cook all our burgers & steaks on it now instead of the grill.

Only thing I’m going to have to get used to is the lack of BTUs in the blackstone compared to the 60k BTUs of the camp chef.

Moved from Son-in-law's near 64th & Greenway in Scottsdale to Phoenix Raceway Geico Trails 23C. Hour and a half even stopping at Flying J to drop the tanks!

Pulled the 5er (bought new in July) out of the storage and dewinterized - check all systems-tire pressure and no problems. I was worried all winter about my winterizing the lines. Had a time with it on what valves in what position to winterize. Got that all figured out or at least I thought so but still wasn't 100% sure. Guess I did it right no leaks anywhere and no pressure bleed off on the lines. Easter flowers has bloomed and first day of spring less than 2 weeks away. Our first trip starts on March 20th. Away we go into the start of camping season. Wishing everyone a safe and most enjoyable camping season yet!!

With the absence of rain I hooked it up and took it for the first spin of the season to check out the brakes/tires/bearings. First trip to southern Utah coming up very soon now.....

I went out to storage and put out the kitchen slide so the DW could get the crock pot out to cook some pulled pork for dinner tomorrow. We forgot we left it in the 5er from out last trip.

Finished the furnace ductwork reroute, stripped the beds, vacuumed, cleaned bathroom and started wiping down some of the woodwork.

Replaced the 30 amp fuse that feeds battery power to the coach. Lesson #1, the DW can help but do not attempt to extend the slide while the tongue jack is being used.

Installed the Snap Pads on the Accolade

Today the weather was sunny and approx 50 degrees so I decided to install the Snap Pads on the coach.

I will say that having the EQ Smart Leveling system with Bluetooth made this easier and made it a one person installation. I was able to operate the. system while laying under the coach and positioning the pads as necessary. Instead of dishwashing soap I used car wash soap was the lubricant because it was thicker and more resistant to running down the sides of the pads.
