Looks great Tom! Are you still using Maguiars or did you switch to Turtle?

Pickup the Briggs & Stratton P4500 "Quiet Inverter" at Lowes, sold the B&S 3500 'loudmouth' on FB marketplace within 6 hours!

Thanks Al! Actually I used both [emoji3]
Finished off my supply of the Meguiars Xpress spray wax on the sides. I used Turtle Wax ceramic spray on the cap. It’s supposed to be better than their Seal N Shine.

If you did all that in one day, I'm calling bull$h!t. Lol!
It takes me 1-2 hours to wash it and another 14-16hrs just to wax it.
And since I'm laid up with a shattered thumb from doing my disc brake conversion install, I think you need to come up here and show me how it's done in one day. It is sunny, the fan is on low today, last nite snow has melted, and it's a balmy 37*
I'll even provide ya with an all you can drink beverage of your choice!
I triple dog dare ya! Lol!

Sorry about your thumb. OUCH!

Yes it’s done in a day. Usually takes about 4 hours or less. I use a spray wax which greatly speeds up the process. I have used Meguiars Xpress spray wax (you can spray it on when the trailer is still wet) then wipe dry. I’ve also used Meguiars hybrid ceramic wax which you spray on and then hose off. I’ve since changed to Turtle wax seal n shine and/or ceramic spray wax. Those go onto a dry surface and wiped off. I use my leaf blower to speed up the drying process. Once you’ve got the wax/sealant/coating (whatever you want to call it) on the rig, the water blows off easily with the blower. I reapply every time I wash to keep cleaning next time easier.

I use Wizards Shinemaster, it's like a liquid/paste, easy on and easy off. About midway thru the season I use their spray on Mist and Shine. That takes me about 6 hrs. They have a ceramic that I was thinking of doing the front cap, but it's always this thing called time that I never have enough of. Lol!
Btw, your rig looks REALLY nice! Show and shine quality reflection in it.

Almost done with the disk brake and 8k axle install. Took pretty much all day. Wasn’t too bad, just a real tedious job! Now to clean up and go home to have dinner. Here’s some photos...because I know the golden rule...photos or it didn’t happen.

Thanks! I try to keep my rig looking it’s best.

That wizards stuff is pretty good stuff! I’m just too lazy to wax on wax off [emoji23]

Not a bad deal in my book! 2 cases of beer is much cheaper than paying for someone else to do it plus you get the satisfaction of doing it yourself. And you get to brag that you installed your own brakes!! [emoji3][emoji481][emoji481]

Danno,
You cant have your friends help! That's cheating!! Lol!
You have to do it by yourself, in the cold, with wrong and missing parts, hurt yourself, lots of new choice words..... lol!
Looks good though! Keep us posted on how well the finished product works.
I'll be glad when I get mine done and can try it out.

I’m not saying that several “choice” words weren’t said, but I’m glad no one smashed any fingers! Hopefully you’re healing up!

Yeah, we're getting there. 2 weeks off work for now then a recheck with the specialist. I can slightly bend it now but it's still full of a lot of pretty colors.
