I'm still in Freeport this morning. We had a couple of light showers yesterday and no wind to speak of. It seems I went far enough west to get out of most all of it. Now we see how long it takes for my original park to open back up. The tropical storm warnings were removed at 4:00am CDT this morning. Since I am all set up and paid for for tonight too, I might not go back until tomorrow. Time will tell.

Crawled under it to adjust the brakes as I was't happy with the way they performed last time out. While under there, found a broken wire at the rear axle - no wonder performance wasn't what it should have been. Made the repair, adjusted the brakes, and now good to go next weekend.

That's a great idea bansai. I would like to swap out the locks on our trailer with these as well. I looked on Amazon, and there are several styles to choose from. If I may ask, what model did you use? And is the length 0.625? Thanks in advance.

Installed Furrion High Speed Rear Observation Camera

Getting ready for a 650 mile round trip next week and I wanted to get this done beforehand. Thanks to Duke_26, who posted his install experience here, it went smoothly.

I haven't towed yet but I tested the range of the camera and got over 500 feet from my rig without a flicker or change in picture quality on the monitor. Makes me hopeful that this was a good choice.

I bought this unit on EBay for $279, which I think is a terrific deal for the high-speed observation and backup camera.

Finally got around to installing a plexiglass sheet in the lower half of the screen door. Our Doxies are tough on screens.

Looks great Mikey!! Let us know how it works out for you on your trip. We are on our 11th camping trip of the summer and can't imagine not having it while towing the TT.

Safe Travels,

Duke

Installed a piece of plexiglass with bouble sided tape then a knife holder and an electrical outlet ( in black). Now I'm ready for a trip to Portland for a week then off to the Ocean beaches for many more.
