On the DC to DC do you need Unplug any items plugged into DC before cranking the truck then plug them back in. Was wondering about voltage spike from alternator or does the controller prevent that.

Pulled it out of storage to get ready for camping later this week. Noticed the bathroom fan wasn't working. Everything points to the fan motor itself (power everywhere right up to the motor)

I'm not aware of any such restrictions. The charger is connected to the truck battery to pull amps from and depending on which charge stage it's in adjusts the voltage going to the trailer battery accordingly.

@ ttavasc = Nice work! I love all that free space under the hood to work with. When I run winch cables to the back of rig's I try to hop in to frame rails and it's a pita with 2/0.

I washed and waxed the exterior of the 5er, blew out the lines and took her back to storage. The DW did a thorough cleaning of the interior.

Cleaned up some rust spots on the tongue and repainted. Semi-gloss black Rustoleum was a great match (thanks JFlight!).

Revisited my wiring job from last week to put the awning LED on a dimmer.
Separated out the security light behind the steps onto the original switch for the awning light.
Now can control both separately.

Where are you guys finding the wiring to separate them? Mine only has one wire pair at the remote control connection.

Mine had a single wire that went to both the awning light and step light. I cut it at the connection point and crimped some wire extensions to make the separate wires longer so I could wire them to the correct switch. The wire is the one I am holding with my finger as it had very little slack to work with.
