Patched in a scrap piece of J wrap.

I’ll get a full piece of J wrap to do a proper repair but this will do for now.

Now time for a drink! 107F heat index.

Skylight Insulation added

While doing the recommended AC duct vent mods/fix (removing black plastic cylinders and taping up gap between ceiling and duct hole for each vent) ... i decided to add more insulation to the bathroom skylight area between ceiling and roof...there was really nothing there but the roof boards and a little insulation... before adding the insulation, I checked to see if duct vent fix worked and it did...didn't feel any more cold air in the “attic “ close to sky light, so good there....hope this skylight insulation helps with the heat as well a little - couldn't hurt...😎

I got started today on swapping out the kitchen faucet for a 3-way faucet that will provide filtered water in addition to the hot/cold. The faucet swap was simple and the hot/cold are working fine. However, I discovered that they did not include the necessary supply line for the filtered water connection, only the hot/cold supply lines. Since it requires a special fitting on the faucet end of the supply line I've reached out to the seller on Amazon to see what they will do to get me the missing supply line.

Next up will be the under-sink filter install while I wait for the missing supply line.

Wife and kids bought me an Oona pizza oven for Father's Day. Just received it a few days ago. We plan on taking this on the road next trip!!

You guys are doing some cool stuff! I just installed a paper towel dispenser for the DW, today. That faucet upgrade I'm definitely doing. The DW doesn't like the one that's in there currently.

I've been following this blog post for the faucet/filter upgrade:

3-way faucet and Ultrapure RV water filter

The mods section of their web site has quite a few interesting entries - several I've already completed.

@ TTAVASC - Thx for the link, I was about to ask you for the parts list. I own a Brondell H2O+ Coral UC300 Three-Stage Undercounter Water Filtration System that you normally add in the kitchen sink hole if you don't have a sprayer. Your suggestion will allow me to combine these functions into a single faucet.

THANKS for sharing your project.

I've been thinking of adding motion sensors to automagically turn on the water pump any time I'm at the sink or in the bathroom.

Fixed!

Finally finished the rewire. Now have 30 amp circuit breakers for house 12v, slide and 30 amp fuse for tongue jack. The slide and tongue jack were on common circuit, split 'em. Here's what it looks like...First few are before, with the half a$$ed crimps, last few are the final install. All wires ended up in conduit or protected.

Said you can mount them on either 6 or 7 in rim. In fact, they sell a tire/rim combo with the 80 series Sailun and a 16x6 rim. Basically he said, as I believed all along, that you’ll be limited (weight rating wise) to whatever is your weakest link. So the tires have either a 4080 or 4400 pound rating, the rims have a rating (in my case) of 3750, and the axles have a 7000 pound rating. So basically if I install the 235/85 tires (which I have now), it makes no sense to inflate them to 110 psi to get the 4400 pound capacity because my rims or my axles will fail before the tires. Therefore I should inflate to 85 pounds (per the Sailun inflation chart) which would yield a 3750 pound load rating. So, now I will reorder another set of 235/85 Sailuns using my factory rims. That would give me 15000 pounds of load capacity which should be sufficient given my trailer has a 15500 GVWR. Also, since I’ve had these on my trailer for over 4 years without issue, I think I’m fine with any potential risk from running the 16x6 rims. Everyone has their own comfort level so no one should take my opinion as gospel. Just letting everyone know what I have found out.
Tom - I have the same rims and tires on my Pinnacle. I just replaced the Sailuns with same after 46,000 miles because of abnormal wear (alignment issue). I run the tires at 85 psi.

Just curious Tom, your sticker actually shows GVWR 15500? Ours ‘17 377 shows 16500 GVWR. So I looked in my saved ‘16 North Point brochure (what we originally ordered) and it says the 377 has a 15975 GWVR.

My memory must be getting a little foggy....I believe you’re correct. My GVWR is in fact 15975.

Washed and finally waxed for the first time in over 4 yrs! Took 3 days. A few hrs each day. Used Meguiars Gold Class Carnauba plus liquid wax. Oh, dang it, forgot to wax the forward storage door. Tomorrow then. Haven’t applied anything to the roof yet. Another job coming soon. Click image for larger version

You’re right about that! Luckily I had some spare parts to get it back to a presentable condition. As far as the BD3, yes I love how it tows! However I hate when I have to take it out of the truck. It’s so heavy! I actually bought an engine hoist from harbor freight to take it out of the bed when I need to use the truck for anything other than towing. Truth be told, I’m actually considering a Reese goosebox so all I have in the bed is the ball but I can’t convince myself that it’s going to be better than the BD3.

That was a lot of work with that old school wax! You really should look into a spray wax that you wipe on and wipe off. Look at either turtle wax seal and shine or turtle wax hybrid solutions ceramic spray wax. They will both give equal or better glossiness but with way better durability. I did my whole trailer the other day in about 4 hours which included power washing the roof. If you want even easier, try Meguiars hybrid ceramic wax. You spray it on when the trailer is still wet, then wipe it off as you dry.

I've read that the Goosebox tow's great but doesn't help as much with the chucking as the BD3. I need help with that. I've only had my hitch out a 3 or 4 time's in 8 years so that's not a problem. If I do need to remove it I have a forklift.
