Yeah I’ve heard the same thing. That’s the main reason I haven’t switched. I don’t really have an issue with chucking but that may be because of the BD3.

Pulled off the left front trailer tire and threw on the spare. Not sure why this tire wore oddly when the other three a wearing evenly.

Called several local tire shops and the Goodyear Endurance tires are hard to come by right now. Back ordered a month out 😡

That kinda looks like it was under inflated. I’m sure it wasn’t but maybe you’ve got a bad spring on that side

I did my whole trailer the other day in about 4 hours which included power washing the roof. If you want even easier, try Meguiars hybrid ceramic wax. You spray it on when the trailer is still wet, then wipe it off as you dry.

Yeah I know, as much I would have like the easy way out, and i really need a multi day workout...heck I even read up just ahead of this project on your prior wash/wax posts and other rv suggestions, to see what you used and while at Walmart, I still caved and bought the old school stuff that I still had some left. That’s all I knew about waxing the conventional way as I’ve used Meguiars wax products since 1993. So the DW’s blue Mustang you see in the pic just got waxed for the first time this afternoon in two years.

Man your roof was really dirty, maybe twice ours is now and boy, what a difference now. Looks new! What cleaner/detergents did you use?

I didn’t use anything on the roof. Only the pressure washer

The under-counter water filter is installed and ready to go. Just waiting now on the missing supply line to arrive to make the final connection from the filter to the faucet. The vendor has indicated they are shipping it out to me this week so hoping to see it in the next couple of days.

I noticed that the leaf springs looked tired on my fifth wheel. So after a little research I figured out the camper came with 1750# springs. I decided to upgrade to 2250# springs since I added a rack to the back and a 40 gallon water tank just in front of the front of the front axle (mostly pin weight).

Just ordered new awning material from E-trailer to replace my aging Carefree of Colorado awning. I'm going to attempt to do this myself and I think after watching a video on the replacement I'm going to have to construct an awning tube holder of some sort. Should be interesting. Also ordered a 15x7' awning sunshade.

Thanks Dan. Hopefully we won’t get the brunt of the storms

Nice- I might be doing that after warranty. How did you determine the correct measurements?

I cut a 2'x8' piece of 3/4" plywood to fit the end of the wall and brace my TV swing arm brackets. I'll add a 110v receptacle.

Also got up on the roof and embeded some security camera brackets in marine 5200 permanent.

Took a little longer than expected but the missing supply line for my 3-way faucet project finally arrived. It's installed now and I'm conditioning the filter for use now. Glad to have this one completed and in place before our next trip in a couple weeks.

Installed new rear Fox shocks. One hour work. Compressed the shocks with the help of a ratchet strap. No need to use a jack or remove rear wheels. Only tools needed is a 21 mm socket, 21 mm ring wrench and a torque wrench. Then secure the nuts with loctite.

Looking forward to Wednesday when we are leaving for a 3 week tour to Montana.

Fixed a squeak that drove me crazy every time I walk by the sofa. When the floor flexed, the sofa end panel ever-so-slightly rubbed against the pantry wall it butted up to. A bit of Loctite super glue and overnight clamp seems to have fixed it. Ah, silence!

Installed the little booster for the Eev RV TPMS system. Checked that all is working and good to go. Now to have all four TT tires fitted with metal valve stems and balanced this week.

Replaced both incoming water filters. It has been 4 months and my water flow had reduced. Now all is great again.
