Washed it, cleaned all the glass an if it didn't move an was rubber or plastic it got hit with 303, including the marker lights. The RejeX wax seems to still be intake but I can tell its runnin thin. Not sure I want to go thru applying that again regardless how long it lasted

Oh double darn, Dan! Sorry to hear about your latest trip woes. Fans are not supposed to snap like that. Did you get your bedroom all dried out? I’ve flooded the hallway in the distant past, left the shower on to fill the shower grey prior to a dump...made me sandwich and forgot about it, til the DW heard flowing water and raked me over the coals.
We leave next Friday for 3 nights at Belton Lake.

Thanks Darin...all is good with the water. Got everything dried out in the front closet area. I even put my nose down in the carpet to check.
As for the fan, the fan blade holder is plastic, not metal like residential. So I’m sure with the long freeze we recently had it damaged the plastic.

It broke just driving down the road. BUT I’m sure the recent freeze we had weakened the plastic. The blade support isn’t metal like it is for a residential fan...it’s plastic!

I hear you. FWIW, we’ve had good luck with Hampton Bay, the Home Depot house brand, for our stick and brick. They’ve held up well and the quality is pretty decent. And they are priced well. If you need 12 volt, though, I don’t think they have them.

Flushed the antifreeze out and sanitized the fresh water system. Inspected the propane lines and appliances and tested all of them out. Still need to re-install the under-sink water filter and give the whole unit a good cleaning before starting to pack it up for the first trip out in a couple of weeks.

Thought about 2 Group 31 myself, but at 125# a piece that's a lot of weight since I'm very close to max already. Decided on 2 Group 30H at 66# each. Correction, I was looking at Group 4D which are 125# each!

I ordered a new Husky electric tongue jack to replace the hand crank... Only a month or so until it comes out of covered winter storage...

2-day project

Like everyone with a 2013-14 Eagle (or any brand with the brown painted front cap), mine was badly faded/oxidized. But mine didn't start fading until about 3-1/2 years after production, so I was too late for Jayco to cover repainting and decaling. At about 4 years after production, I decided to put a polyurethane clear-coat overtop. Bought a can of Rust-Oleum high gloss poly spray, and sprayed it on. It did make a big difference . . . at first. But after about 2 years the poly began to flake off, and that looked even worse than it did from the fading. And the fading had progressed to the point where everything above the mountain decal was a medium taupe color - fading to almost white at the top.

So on Friday, I got out the rubber sanding block and some ultra-fine Emory Cloth, and sanded off all the polyurethane that was left - and roughed the painted surface. (Did it by hand to give me more control on the areas around the decals.) After 4 hours, I thought it looked decent, so gave it a quick spray of water with the garden hose, and toweled it dry. Yesterday, I got out the recently-purchased 10" electric buffer/polisher. I put on a coat of Meguiar's Scratch-X polishing compound, and worked it in to to the entire front cap to bring back the color and shine. I polished that off and gave it another bath. Then, I applied a thick coat of Meguiar's Carnauba wax in sections, let it dry to a haze, and polished the haze off each section. Finally, I gave the entire front cap a final buffing. It took another 6 hours, but I think the result was worth the time! It's not quite a shiny as the original finish (more of a satin finish than a high-gloss), but it certainly looks better than it has for the last 4 years. I'm happy with it . . . what say you?

I added a WIEX cell booster. Put the antenna on my ladder and ran the cable under the 377 and ran through the basement up through the hole for the washer/dryer water up through the dresser and into the cable jack. Now the booster is hid behind the bedroom TV and you cannot see any cords so my OCD is satisfied.
