Very true. I’ve taped many a rip in tarps with it. Still holding while the tarp shreds around it. They should make tarps out of it! Gorilla Tarp!

We did just that with ours (trashed it).

No way I would donate that piece of garbage and subject someone else to that level of torture. I get that it's probably better than cardboard ... but only slightly...

Spent some time this afternoon tracking down the source of a noticeable black tank odor inside the trailer. It turned out to be a leaky black tank valve that was allowing black water to leak into the main drain pipe. Last trip out the dump station we hit on the way home still didn't have any running water due to freezing temps so when I dumped I wasn't able to use the San-T-Flush. I suspect there may have been a little clog of TP at the valve that was allowing black water to leak into the main drain pipe. After running the San-T-Flush for a few minutes I was able to confirm the black tank valve was clear and sealing properly.

I will also use this as a recommendation to install a Twist-valve on the end of your main drain pipe to avoid surprises that a leaky tank valve will provide at some point - or an idiot prankster who pulls the black tank handle in the rest area when you aren't looking (yes - this happened to me last season). Once again it saved me from a potential mess by preventing the leaking black water from rushing out when I took the cap off the main drain pipe.

Made my own version of the Steadyfast stabilizer arms out of 3/4" electrical conduit and unistrut clips. They work really well.

Replaced my Camco Cyclone sewer vent pipe cover with a 360 Siphon vent pipe cover.

Installed the RV Airflow in my Jayfeather. Note: If you previously patched the duct misfit with eternabond, it has to be removed otherwise the duct inserts will not fit. If the duct adapters don't go in all the way, the baffle will not slide up and fit properly. On a plus note: the eternabond had been on long enough it was almost fairly easy to remove. Only left some sticky behind and the duct inserts fit after I trimmed the back off of them (as seen in instructions). I now have six "jets' of air shooting pout of the ceiling even on low fan! Works as advertised, and quieter...although still makes some noise (intake).

Installed a Smart Plug on the Camper. I bought the plug and Cord off eBay for a fraction of what they typically sell for.

I am mounted of the plug to a piece of expanded PVC Board then attached the wires then secured into the camper, I’ll give the sun a few days to heat up the butyl tape. Then clean up the edges, and seal them with a bead of Dicor.

The Smart Plug cord is a 30 amp plug (orange) I did not want to have to wire up a separate outlet to plug it into the house. So using part of the cord I cut off the camper, I made a pigtail, bought a female 30 amp plug and a 30 amp male plug and made a 4’ pigtail...

Repacked the axle bearings. Not hard but time consuming and messy as packing bearings always is. After 4 yrs everything looked good so didn't have to replace anything.
This little 3 ton bottle jack/jack stand worked great. Jacked up the camper then used it as a jack stand. Only raises to 21" so I made a platform out of 3 - 4x4's screwed together. Had a handle from an old camping coffee pot I didn't use that I attached to it for a grab handle.Click image for larger version

I tried to give my original OEM mattress to a niece for her outside dogs. They wouldn't even get on it, so I burned it.

We had our mattress in the garage for about a year and we were just recently moving and a neighbor came by and took the mattress and also the jack sofa i had removed and saved me the hassle of disposal.
