Finally switched out the dinette foam for some solid medium firm upholstery quality foam from a local shop here in town. Much happier with the feel as I do not sink to the wood underneath anymore.

Thanks Colby. And congrats on the seat improvement. That’s on my punch list!

Unfortunately my tire dealer had all of his staff quit except one due to the Covid stimulus money and he doesn't have staff to install them. At least they are in stock 1 mile from here and I don't have any trips planned until fall.

If that was my business, every one of them that left would not be coming back to work for me. I'd hire and entire new staff and pay them more than the others were making just to make a point.

Might find a independent tire shop, pick up your tires and get them to mount. Or pick them up and keep them till they can mount them. Don’t want them to get “lost” in the shuffle or lot of weight stacked on top of them.

I installed the Halo View side & rear cameras on the RV today. I’ll take some pics tomorrow, as I still need to run the antenna/booster on the roof and pair the monitor with each camera.

Maintenance: clean and lube all slide seals, rolled around underneath on a creeper inspecting welds, hoses and wiring.

I agree. This is the reason I'm not pushing him for installation since I'm not planning a trip until October.

He is an independent shop in a small town and these tires were ordered for me. The are safe in his warehouse and nothing is on top of them.

I'm not pushing for install. I full time and my existing G614's are doing fine sitting here waiting. This shop is 2 miles from me.

After living 8 months in an RV park 20 miles away while our new home is being built, we moved it down the hill to our new neighbors house across the street from ours. Probably a month left with ours to be finished, hopefully less.

All the homes here have RV hookups, but the hookups are on the wrong side for a pull trailer/5th wheel. So it will be interesting hooking up to the sewer with the connection directly across the steps. A minor issue given how grateful we are that this couple volunteered this spot for us knowing we wanted to get closer to the house and no long term spots were available at closer parks.

Here is our new temporary home...

Since your house is under construction can the sewer hook up be moved?

I talked to the super about it before the slab was poured and he said they will do it, but so far nothing. I will definitely keep bugging him about it. Looking from the street, if the garages are on the left side of the house, the hookups are on the correct side, on the right like ours is they are in the wrong side if you back in a pull trailer. Whoever set it up this way obviously does not own an RV.

I feel your pain. In December when a closing date was set on our new townhouse. There were a few things that they had not done. I emailed the lawyers office that was handling the closing and told them there would not be a closing until the items were corrected. Amazing how fast they were done!
