Luckily, all of the last Andersen "marks" were still on the trailer frame. Made it easy to place everything. Appears the rear bushing washer is thicker than the previous generation and the pivot plate has been redesigned. Hope to head out for the first outing this week and see how it performs.

I have both, pre 2016 Andersen on the 2005 Layton Skyline, and a new one on the Jayfeather. I have pulled to Arizona and New Mexico with each, and only difference I can see is the older model may separate the ball from the hitch mount. Newer model has a retainer ring on top, otherwise hitch setup is identical, albeit needing adjustments from one model to the other due to difference in bottom plate.
With my previous UltraFab WD hitch, the wd bars often dragged when passing over street drainage dips common in West Texas, New Mexico and Arizona. That said, there is one particularly deep 'dip' in Clayton, NM on US412 where the BNSF crosses. The UltraFab not only dreagged its bars, but allowed the trailer to drag it's rear bumper. With the Andersen, none of this happened.

I'm assuming you are asking about the date codes on the tires. This article on tirerack.com explains how to locate and interpret the date code on the tires.

I was asking about the date codes on the recalled Winntec propane regulator. I must have posted my question in the wrong post. Thank you

Today I installed a bidet in the Bathroom. Should reduce toilet paper use by quite a bit. Installation was pretty easy. Had to buy a PEX adapter T for a 3/8 threaded flex hose. The adapter cost almost as much as the bidet.

Unfortunately. Wal-Mart may as well be chynah-mart.

DW would like vinyl plank flooring in one of the bedrooms at the house. We started looking at different products and right away noticed, Made in Chynah. But couple other brands we saw were not and will probably go with one of them.

Thank you, I will look again. I did see a number but it didn't look like at date to me. How did you decipher N 16 49?

Like mine....

Coincidentally, another thread was describing the oddball engineering of the regulator. If you remove either of the hoses, parts literally fall out/Click image for larger version

Like Madmax related above. Here’s the NHTSA document... https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/202...1V425-3062.PDF

Yep, just checked mine and it's same year as yours.

I have a bad hose on one side though. Went to replace it just now and the end that connects to the regulator is the wrong size. Doh!

Checked and topped off the tires and dabbed a little Dicor around the base of the radio antenna on the roof where the old stuff had pulled away just a bit. Hooked to house power and got the fridge cooled down in hopes of getting away for a bit.

I've had crazy seal sitting here in my foyer for over a month. I'm really disappointed with my Jayco quality so I've actually been looking hard at the Grand Design imagine line. But I think it's going to be out of my reach financially. Now if I decide to put it on my Jayco instead, I need to find a break in the weather. I do have a buddy that has a very large covered area. I might bug him.

What Did You Do To Your RV TODAY?

Towed her home to get ready for upcoming FL trip. Had to reattach the valance next to my seat, as one of the supports came out of the wall. Bigger screw & some gorilla glue and she’s as good as new!

Put on those new fancy magnetic bumper covers for the stinky slinky…the old OEM inserts were barely hanging on!

And lastly the DW has been asking me for awhile for a flat table for in between our chairs where the cup holders are. We both still like to have our coffee in mugs with handles and can’t put them in the cup holders. I just didn’t want to buy the wood I would need to build something with the lumber prices. So…while in south Dallas this week an oval wood fence post presented itself to me in the street…I’m a frugal (cheap!) man, so I stopped & threw it in the back of the truck. I cut a piece and made it round to fit in 1 of the cup holders & screwed a scrap piece of plywood to it that I had laying around. I still need to stain it, but the DW is happy, so I’m on the good list…for now anyways!
